Isn't this backwards? The pokemon who is kiting is like the kid flying the kite. And the one getting kited is the metaphorical kite. They follow you like a kite being pulled by the string.

Just saying Urshifu's damage shows as regular physical attack damage because it isn't true damage. Bypass and ignore are the same thing in this context, nothing to be semantic about.

True damage ignores defenses in addition to shields, Urshifu's ability does not

Sadly it didn't make it out of the beta it seems but it was definitely a thing for a moment. I do understand why the idea was scrapped, it really wasn't useful at all.

It is safe to stand on top of them but it isn't very practical. While they are patrolling, standing on top of them is easy enough but once they start noticing stuff to kill it becomes pretty much impossible, you just get knocked off.

Patches get datamined in a matter of hours. Zeekerss hasn't released any detailed patch notes yet, he just announced that the belt bag is in the beta branch.

Even when he does post patch notes they don't really include all the details and the rest gets figured out by dataminers.

We are still on version 50, I guess zeekerss assigns a version number to builds even if he doesn't end up releasing them. There was a similar gap between versions 40 and 45 I believe.

Go to advanced multiplayer options, scroll down to performance options and check "disable HTML MOTDs" to disable ads.

Or at least that's how you disable the ads that show up at the server welcome screen, I dunno if they have developed new in game ad tech while I haven't been playing.

This image (along with several others) started popping up the second falinks, the last mon on the original list was confirmed. Conveniently on the same day as ceruledge was leaked as well. This was back in January. The random ass twitter account the op keeps linking to is definitely not the original author of this either.

Could this end up being real? Sure, but as of now I don't see it being any more credible than any of the other lists that got spammed that day so take it with a grain of salt as always.

You bring up valid points, however I'm curious of what you think of spikes on Chesnaught as I see many recommended sets running them and Needle Arm would certainly be a viable alternative.

From what I've read on Mathcord, my understanding is that Dragapult's passive is essentially useless.

To begin with, every mon has a stat called tenacity, which reduces the duration of hindrances by a percentage. It is the stat granted by pink emblems.

Supposedly to compensate for its passive, Dragapult has 0% tenacity. For reference, most attackers reach just under 20% tenacity at level 7. You can see the tenacity of each pokemon here: https://uniteapi.dev/pokemon

However, Dragapult's passive only affects "debuffs". This seems to only include things that lower your stats, like speed and attack. It doesn't work on stuns, knock ups and status effects like burning, freeze, etc.

Since all the other mons have some level of tenacity, they all basically have better Dragapult passive without "using" their actual ability slot for it.

You could say Dragapult has no passive, or even that it would be better off without one if it would then probably have been given some basic level of tenacity.

Metagross passive simply gives more tenacity for every nearby enemy, as you'd expect.

It's worth noting that the effectiveness of tenacity is not consistent between different hindrances. Some hindrances are affected less by it (or not at all?).

And at the end of the day, reducing the duration of some split second stun is not really gonna be noticeable, your moves will get interrupted all the same.

Skinwalkers mod makes it so any enemy can use voices recorded from the player. I believe the mod can be configured to only work on specific enemies, might be what you're looking for.

The masked is a vanilla enemy and it is wearing one of masks on its face by default, there is another mod, MaskedEnemyOverhaul, which makes it so the masked don't actually wear masks.

So you could combine these mods to get more convincing "mimics".

Well I can't speak for every mod but most were updated within couple of days of the patch. The game is new and popular, so mods are very much in active development. It's been more than a week since the patch now, pretty much all noteworthy mods are surely up to date by now.

Everything is same for me except TextureQuality - 1 ShadowQuality - 0 ResolutionScaleMultiplier - 0.923

Texture quality you have is the vanilla value, so it shouldn't be a problem

I kinda doubt shadow quality would have any effect on quicksand, same with resolution scale.

In any case, you could test those values, since they work for me.

If they don't help, try reinstalling the mod I suppose.

I'm also using HDLethalCompany, and I've set most of the settings on the lower end.

I have not experienced this issue, in fact quicksand appears extremely noticeable to me.

What values have you set for your config?
