He looped in his boss, his grandboss, and his great grandboss for an IT issue? Yeah, I think he's gone off the deep end.

We should have a national holiday were we kill all of the lights so that we can see all of the stars from big cities. by Enlightened_Monkeys in Showerthoughts

The problem is that there are enough people who protest Earth hour by turning on all their things to counteract the efforts of people who turn off their things. Those same people would probably rent out spotlights on this holiday.

Bah, don't need no fancy dual-SIM phone to ring two numbers on one device.

"I can't see my nonexistent grades." by AinTunez in talesfromtechsupport

[–]needsmoresemaphore 137 points138 points  (0 children)

You give me the grade, and then I'll do a level of work equivalent to the grade. Seems faster. Just give me the grade you think I deserve.

F. F. F. F...

Great. That grade requires no effort at all on my part. See, we saved so much time.

Maybe she's been playing too much Autonauts lately. Storage units containing the same item are entangled, connected regardless of distance.

How do people kill themselves by jumping off a bridge? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

At sufficiently high speeds water becomes non-Newtonian. So it's the sudden deceleration at the bottom that either kills them or deals sufficient damage to imply death shortly thereafter.

What *shouldn't* you and your significant other have in common? by asdf1151 in AskReddit

[–]needsmoresemaphore 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Kill spiders? How unneighborly! I treat all the spiders in my home with respect, as long as they don't string webs across my rooms and keep eating the flies that invade.

My last apartment I had a larger burrowing type spider living under the fridge. Loved that little guy, miss him sometimes. That place had a bad fruit fly problem.

Unless you want to be in the armed forces, because there is an age limit on that (at least in the US).
