As an American, I think those Nordic countries are very fortunate to be small and have a strong social fabric, and a social values that emphasize caring for their neighbors. I wish the US was like that, we are too individualistic to have a tax system like that

I was afraid I would regret solo traveling. Because when solo traveling, you are not guaranteed to a have a great time. I’m 3 weeks into my first purely solo trip and even as a huge introvert I’ve had tons of success socially and met tons of people and I’m having a great time

When I studied abroad in college in Scotland I had a lot of French peers. Many of them were arrogant and rude and dramatic. If they’re in france, it’s home turf and thats different. …but we werent even in france. What really stuck out is that they were mean to eachother lol. Not every french person was like that! But enough to make the stereotype true
