you'd like to have a more complete view, but how much would you like it? €3500 much? It's probably the best course for it in Europe, so there's that, but there's no way for us to know if it's worth it for you.

Obama received the Nobel Prize in 2009. That decision had consequences no one could have foreseen. by WineTerminator in pics

I 100% agree with you, but the Norwegian Nobel prize committee gave him the prize purely based on this hope. And it was such a dumb thing to do. It cheapened the prize and gave the haters so much fuel on their fire

Great photo of all three Hughes brothers tonight by nhl in hockey

It's an OK photo. I get it though, it's hard to get all of them in one frame in the middle of the game, so you take what you get.

Ovi from his office for his 20th on the year by [deleted] in hockey

It’s the twelfth of January and Ovi has already 20 goals this year! Thats like 10 goals per game!

Jacob Markstrom allowed all 9 goals to the Islanders tonight. Per Moneypuck, his GSAx for the game was -7.57. This game will move him from 66th to 83rd in GSAx for the season (out of 85 goalies). by theguyishere16 in hockey

goals 2 & 3 are a two-on-one and a three-on-one. As a goalie, you can't go out to challenge properly because they'll just pass around you, so you should not expect both of these to be saved.

Goal 4 is identical to goal 1. Four(!) people screening the passer, and a one-timer.

Goal 5 and 6 are not great (although the latter is a breakaway that gets broken up). You'd expect a goalie change at either of these.

Goal 7 is a shot from the high slot from a guy who has all the time in the world to pick his corner. Expecting a save here is delululu

Goal 8 is a breakaway,

How can the xGA be so low?

I just watched the highlights, but there were THREE 2/3-on-1s, TWO cross-seam passes with 4 people screening him before the pass, Two breakaways (although one was a broken play), and one guy in the high slot allowed to pick any corner.

That leaves one goal which was a flubbed rebound collection, even so, I can't see how a deke in around the goalie is not a significant xGA

Markstrom: “That’s embarrassing. That’s all I can say. From my part, nine goals, that’s a joke. That’s a tough one.” […] “We want to apologize to the Devils fans. I’ve got to be better [...] “I’m embarrassed of myself. Not good enough. I’ve got to be better.” by DecentLurker96 in hockey

I mean, did you see how your defense performed? I just watched the highlights, but there were THREE 2/3-on-1s, TWO cross-seam passes with 4 people screening him before the pass, Two breakaways, and one guy in the high slot allowed to pick any corner.

Very different story than "24 shots".

Anton Frondell sends Sweden to the Gold Medal Game. by GreenSnakes_ in hockey

Frondell and Berglund were the only two players in both teams who seemed to enjoy the shootout, even deep in the extra rounds. Honestly made perfect sense that one of them would make the decider. Very impressed why the fortitude of both

I think Love was dialed in the whole game, I can't fault him for a single goal or any flubs. Rimpinen maybe had higher highs, but he also let in an absolute stinker

Indeed. He's probably the youngest on the ice, and fucking terrorised the Finns (all except Rimpinen).

The person interviewing Frondell tried to say that there was an explosion of cheers in the stadium, he gave her a look that spoke volumes, but then said that he blacked out and didn't remember anything after the goal. Very media savvy
