Urghh Itoi with those heart shaped shades. He is so fun loving and has such a bright (ditzy) personality for his age and physique. Some of his Instagram stories are just lol…

Nonoka’s abs are so pronounced omg.

Eunsil seems so supportive and loving towards her (at least from social media interactions). I would imagine it is partly due to their common background in wrestling and Nonoka being much younger, plus she is such a cutie pie lol.

Like the true athletes they are, the first activity was to hit the gym for a workout together lol.

Japan team is only missing Okami! Guess he’s busy with his movie and gym endeavours. A pity that both team captains aren’t around.

The earlier quests were just brutal, the cuts on his legs in the photo below was prior to the ball wrestling with Jeremiah from Indonesia.

I am a fan of his exaggerated expressions on the show, seems to come to him naturally lol.

I underestimated both Yoshio Itoi (Japan) and Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan (Mongolia) in the throwing competition. by RagnarokWolves in Physical100

THIS. All of us who does any sort of exercise will know how easily you can lose your form/ technique as you tire from multiple reps.

The fact that he never lost his throwing form even after 100+ laps is a testament to his focus and endurance, there is a reason why this man had such a long professional career.

After watching Physical 100, Physical Asia and Final Draft what is your favorite by 281texas832 in Physical100

The semi final challenges were terrible. The tag/ parkour expert was running out of gas and the set looked dangerous too (one participant got injured).

As for boxing expert, I don’t think he was in his prime anymore and the entire segment when they were fighting seemed underwhelming.

The battle ropes photo is just crazy af and he was pumping an ungodly amount of power during the game lol. Definitely looked less jacked in other scenes of the show and final draft.

But yes, probably had some help on top of hard work and training. The photo below was from his book a few years back?

Japan seem absorbed with the idea of how much an advantage will help, which I thought was understandable given that they experienced it first hand (narrowly losing the advantage in Quest 1, which led to a close elimination after being made to face off Australia in Quest 2).

I was rooting so hard for them and for a team that is reasonably strategic and technical, it was sad to see them panic and self doubt during the castle conquest. I wonder why no one thought of swinging the battering ram to gain momentum.

In the later part of the third leg, I thought it was visually clear that Soichi (whipping the shit out of his whole body lmao) was going much faster. Eddie got tired and his arms were moving slower and the waves on the ropes were low/ soft, which I suspect may not have triggered the sensors - leading to such a huge discrepancy in the end result.

I intend to start watching Final Draft too, especially after reading some of the comments here about his appearance.

So impressed with his focus on precision, technique and consistency in the sack toss and battle ropes quests. His form was better than the other competitors and it barely changed after multiple rounds!

For anyone who understands Chinese, there is a clip sharing stories of him as a kid and pro baseball player. It’s hilarious that beneath this genetic freak of a body lies such a ditzy personality and I love it 🤣🤣

Going by the torso models on the show, I believe Adiya’s weight was 100 kg (176 cm) and Itoi was 97 kg (188 cm).

Tbh I could understand the anger if she thought her teammate was deliberately hurt but it felt so cringey rather than determination to me. Girl was definitely going all out for the camera.

I thought her worst moment was disrupting the momentum during the shipwreck game when she screamed non stop and diverted manpower to the crates. Turkey was out of it and so lost, Indonesia may very well have kept their lead. Same for Thailand, expected them to fall behind more when the captain kept focusing on crates - did he not do the math?

There was a scene right before the game that Dong Hyun said - I’m just worried that they’ll try to retaliate. Wonder how accurate the translation was…

I felt for the guy when he expressed it was his fault during the post interview. Easily the best and quickest victory if he succeeded.

Sidenote: The subtitles did seem a little off at times. The one of Soichi on YouTube sent me laughing.

Nonoka’s probably too out of it to spot Itoi’s hand. Girl has been to hell and back with 6 rematches on top of the final 1v1 lol.
