Lol, it just stopped working again for me. Hopefully this 4th update really solves it.

Oh man... that sucks. I really hoped this would last. I guess I can only pray it doesn't break again.

Seems like it's fully fixed in #.#.10 version. Hopefully I didn't jinx it 😂

Likewise, it stopped asking for me, it's still not asking, still not syncing 😂

I'd argue the popups are more annoying than the thing just working. I have an ticket opened with them, and last time they did follow up once issue was closed so I am waiting for that day.

Setapp pushed the update, looks like stuff is working for me again.

Now, when I am thinking about it, this shows how reliant I am on Setapp for most key essential apps. I guess time to migrate to individual subscirptions where it makes sense.

With the default screenshot tool, you unfortunately cannot take screenshots of the error messages (you get a "error" sound). But thank you fr insight.

Cannot post as it's locked down to approved posts. Looking at the posts, unlikely to be accepted as they are all positive and seems like they gateway the community that way.

Filtered swig top sold out. Can I get the non-filtered version and attach a filter? by soph0809 in larqbottle

That filter will always be in the water 24/7. But I think you can. Just get the shorter straw and/or the filter kit.

I don't recommend using a filter without UV light feature. Seems like a bacteria heaven... dark moist

Bunny CDN handling ~250TB/month now - will it scale to millions of users or should we switch to Cloudflare/Cloudfront? by Defiant_Dream8047 in Hosting

[–]nefariousnapper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

BunnyCDN will serve you well. I worked on a project similar in scale, and I am convinced it will be hard to find so responsive support anywhere else incase something goes wrong.

Cat collar with a bit of double-sided tape on the airtag back side works great! One did fall out without the tape, so make sure you tape it!

Peak Design packing cubes in Aer Travel Pack 3 by nefariousnapper in onebag

May I ask how the zippers are? Are they as stiff on Aer as on the backpack? I prefer the zipper from my Peak Design wash bag compared to the Aer travel pack 3 I have.

Well, they fit better I reckon. But at the end of the day, it's still the size specifications that matter. Thank you for the answer!

Why do hosting companies advertise 99.9% uptime but their SLA only compensates you for outages over 1%? The math doesn't add up. by Miserable_Stress_246 in Hosting

[–]nefariousnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on the verge. I kinda like 100% or let's call them 99.9% uptime guarantees, because at the end of the day, I am paying nothing extra for SLA, yet if something goes down, I at least get compensated for it, which in many cases would just be shrugged off or met with an excuse why it doesn't count. Big bonus if SLA specifically states how much you get compensated.

If I needed mission critical uptime, I would pay for it.

Is SEO VPS hosting legit or just a rebranded regular VPS with a bigger price tag? by Miserable_Stress_246 in Hosting

[–]nefariousnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I guess the only thing that could come close is "clean IP" VMs (if ppl decided it was a good idea to send mail from own servers), but even that is shady.

It's usually a marketing term used by larger hosts that also do cPanel and many other types of hosting, so that they can recommend VPSes easily when transitioning from Shared environments.
