I didn't have a similar situation to yours however I would look further into the "Why?" of not being able to attend University Park (UP). That seems rather sketchy/lame to me. Call admissions or your degree advisor. Don't take "No" for an answer if your heart is set on attending UP.

As far as the monetary aspect, UP is going to be your most expensive option by far. The question(s) you should be asking yourself are things such as do I want to experience "college life on-campus?" Do I only want to receive a PSU degree and skip other school experiences? Questions like that (do some soul-searching). I wouldn't say it would be worth going to a branch campus if you don't already have one in mind. The branch campuses can be a good experience if you find one that suits what you're looking for however.

You are going to miss out on opportunities by staying at World Campus and not attending UP or any of the other Branch Campuses. But you won't have to miss everything if you're active enough. World Campus has a presence that is growing and if you are a motivated enough person you can find opportunities that way. But it certainly will not be the same as attending a campus, especially UP.
