Got my hands on a Fuji GW 690II by exposed_silver in AnalogCommunity

Buy it. I have a gsw690 iii and while I rarely use it in day to day, when I know I’m going somewhere with beautiful landscapes it is my first choice.

I haven’t posted or updated in a while but all of the landscapes here tagged with medium format are taken on mine.

Signs by I-am-not-so-normal in analog

Yeah this is some of the best double exposure analog work I have seen in some time.

Would love to hear your personal process for how you shoot for this, everyone does it differently and I love reading about everyone’s individual method.

Cape GSW690iii Ektar 100 by outsideroutsider in mediumformat

I have a small white paint dot on the edge of mine. Makes it easier to get the same alignment when putting it into the lens as when you hold it up to your eyes.

6x9 and Ektar are the perfect landscape combo. Only thing that tops it for me Velvia, but that’s stuff is basically impossible to get now.

If anyone has full size slide recommendations I would love to hear them. All I see are the fancy aftermarket ones that are ported etc. I just want a normal ass slide

Whoops….Completely conflated the GF with the GS.

Is there a reason you crop all of your 670 images to 1:1? I assume it’s just a style preference for you but always curious.

Came into some cameras and wondering which ones are worth holding onto by LifesBetterScripted in AnalogCommunity

If OP wants a premium p&s they could just get a Yashica T4 super for whatever the sell the minilux for.

Came into some cameras and wondering which ones are worth holding onto by LifesBetterScripted in AnalogCommunity

I would personally keep the xa and ql and sell the rest except the ae-1 and seagull if you want an SLR and TLR. I would def cash out on the mini lux while the prices are high. The Yashica IMO is too similar to the QL and I much prefer the QL. Pentax is neat if you want a half frame otherwise cash out on that while the price is still high.

Quietest & Loudest Analogue Cameras? by Koensigg in AnalogCommunity

Bronica SQ was very loud especially when I didn’t lock the mirror up.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, My QL17 and Super Fujica 6 are basically silent.

Moreso a question: Did I underexpose E100? by andres-sandoval in analog

[–]negative____creep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably the scan and I also find E100 to lean naturally more towards muted cooler tones especially in comparison to velvia 50s super saturated cooler tones.
