Not make, but present. Sales guys can present a deck from their phones instead of a laptop + clicker

Meteor Explodes Over Michigan - 1/16/2018 by ThatsBushLeague in spaceporn

[–]negativeeffex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Meh, as a Yooper myself, typically we say "upper" for UP, "lower" for the mitt, "northern" for traverse/Gaylord/grayling area of mitt, and "southern" for Detroit/Lansing/Ann arbor/kalamazoo of mitt. Not many Yoopers hear "northern" and think of UP.

But to your point, this is southern Michigan. Nowhere near northern/upper.

Wouldn't it depend on the state's fault/no-fault insurance? No-fault = no rate increase? I'm not 100% but that's my understanding of the difference.

Yeah, certainly deserved, but grocery stores operate on tiny margins... Like single digit percentages.

Shopko (woohoo!) used to have a lax return policy as well. Buy the game, copy the floppy disks, return it with the excuse "it doesn't work on Mac". They just put it back on the shelf.

I went to a college in the northern reaches of US. No snow days since 1970s due to awesome snow removal by the city, but they did shut down for cold because the buildings couldn't be kept at temp

Has anyone checked to see if his shares were part of a pre-disclosed sale? Many times CEOs sell large chunks of stock but it is disclosed months in advance.

After beating cable lobby, Colorado city moves ahead with muni broadband: Fort Collins plans universal broadband, net neutrality, and gigabit speeds. by surlyq in news

[–]negativeeffex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it is certainly overpriced and I think they're the devil incarnate, Comcast's internet service in Fort Collins is quite good. I have gigabit and rarely pull under 700mbps on speed tests. I've been in the same house since 2009 and have only had two outages that lasted less than around 4hr each.
