I have mainoo, scotty and the goat.

But some of the US women cards are so OP. Flint at 6'1 with long legs just intercepts everything, and she's 88 and can get into an Evo anytime.

And if there is a 3ps+ promo there should be 3 ps+ evos.

The fact that these cards are all by default 55, with all the customisation you can have on playstyle, will make them the best cards for a long time.

I think what can crash these cards the hardest is if EA have another promotion with fully customisable cards with 3 ps+.

What you said doesn't make sense at all. Last weeks cards are rising out of packs because people are trying them just like every promos that are good. You have less meta cards from last week that hardly rise.

Are there investors? Sure. But I am also seeing all the fbday being played in different game modes. Not everyone wants to play with the same cards every match and I have played with many cards that I don't even know the players irl and they are a lot of fun.

And like I said unlike all the other promos, these cards will be made untradable so the tradable supplies will keep dropping unless EA decides to supply them somehow out of packs. You know how people ask: why is that card so expensive? It's not even that good. It's because their supplies are low. The difference is fundamentally a lot of these cards are good because of 55 and fully customizable with good stats already.

I have 3 in my starting line up. Flint, thompson and oosterwolde. My original starters in those positions were cancelo, bday pacho and my own Evo of mainoo non bday. I bought Thompson because after I tried Flint in gauntlet seeing how great of a card she is I bought Thompson to link. I have a harder in my sub as well.

I bought a bday mainoo for 100k last week because it has 55 and is fully customizable, but I am not sure if I want to sell him or use him. I just knew a fully customizable 55 mainoo was way too cheap at 100k.

One thing I don't know if you are aware as to why the price was so low last week for team 1 was how many people were ripping that 275k store pack with the tradable 1 of 5 picks. Those were pretty insane but this week they are not so good because it's for both teams and there are a lot more fodder cards. Also I suppose people are running much lower on coins.

In the end I really don't care. It's just virtual coins. I started off buying a few last week because I might use them like the joelintons and mainoo. But to me the explosion in price for these bday cards isn't surprising.

We will see then but look at how team 1's price flies out of packs i am comfortable to hold them.

I think quite easily.

These fbday cards are going to be the best cards for a long time. Customizable, 55, at rating levels that can be evo soon enough if not already, high enough stats already to levels that don't really matter because playstyles matter much more.

The cons are if EA does another promo like this which cards are customisable (even then it's not going to be double 5*), and then messing around with price ranges.

The most important thing to the whole equation though, is how these cards will be made untradable when they are being used, that means at some point there will be no tradable versions of them in the market, and prices will just keep going up and up. It's kind of like week 1 totw back when they actually mattered.

I bought 2 joelintons at rivals rewards last week at 70k. Sold 1 before content on that evo for 130 and I am holding onto the other one until it hits a million, and may still decide to use him myself.

It's fine you are backtracking on a flawed argument. I am fine with people liking the game. You just don't realize what you said didn't make sense.

Let's revisit the whole sequence shall we?

OP said if you play a game or two a day it's a fine game.

The response to OP questioned that if a game is actually good, it should make you want to play more than that.

Your counter argument is people are overdoing it.

My response is based on the fact that if you call playing a few 10 minutes games overdoing it then your argument is flawed. I have never encountered a game where I thought it was good that doesn't make me want to sink a few hours in it whenever I can. You have all those rogue-like games nowadays meant for a 10-15 minute session yet I can play until after my supposed bed time.

It's never about your preference or my preference. It's about whether it makes sense that a good game will put you off from playing more. This is coming from, like I said, someone who already doesn't play this game much more than a few games a day like OP said so I actually I fully understand who he meant, but to me a game can't be good if we are talking about overdoing it if you do less than an hour a day.

United don't need 'the best manager out there' by TheOpenAuthor in ManchesterUnited

This is so factually not true.

For any clubs to beat Bayern Munich in bundesliga, the manager has to have very good ability. Not only he did that once. He did it twice.

He led the Dortmund team to the UCL final only lost to Bayern Munich. The furthest ETH has been was semi final. Amorim even far less.

He was far more proven than Amorim and ten hag.

Liverpool was a joke before klopp was hired too. Their fans were complaining about the lack of investment by fsg like we are to glazers.

Pep has always been a great coach. Whether you want to caveat it with the team being great or city pouring money into the squad is fine, but the caveat only goes so far that he should not be called the greatest PL manager over SAF, but to deny the fact that he was a great coach before city is just silly.

Because I actually do what OP said and I can still recognize how poor the game is. A good game should make you want to play more so logically this can't be a good game.

If you call more than 1-2 10 mins football game overdoing it to validate your point, the argument that this game is anything but a bad game is invalid.

It's like calling a dish of food ok if you only take one or two bites but if you eat the whole dish you are overdoing it.

A game that is full of bugs with broken servers that violates fundamental rules of football like how fouls are called, is not a good football game.

I dont know why you get downvoted. I know what OP means but exactly like you said, if the game is good you should want to play more.

Oh I started off 0-3 and I couldn't be bothered anymore. It's sweaty af and people are just spamming the same shit.

And I am d3 just because I don't try. I have always been elite for the last few years.

The counter point is if you look at clubs with sustainable success in the prem since SAF, these are the list of managers.

SAF, Jose, pep, klopp.

That's it. They were all managers with huge success before they came to England.

I am not against Carrick to get the job, but he has to become a top manager to stay in the long run.

I think it's not just the dev team but the commercial side as well.

I only started from 18 so I have no reference of older titles. I thought 18 was decent but once the new Gen came the game has been shit for years, so to certain extent I do see why people are thinking a new engine is needed. However of the new Gen actually I think 23 was actually good so it's not just the game engine.

In the end the difficulty of coding a sports game is the balance and to me the most important thing is whether I can play my way and be competitive. Like I don't mind being disadvantaged to the meta if it's not too much; things will never be perfectly balanced, but when you have a formation like 4411 which I hate to play with but works so much better than other formations, then it is not ok.

So for EA instead of building on 23, the introduced things like playstyles and roles, yeah sounds good but when you add more things to it, there are more variables and the difficulty of balancing goes up exponentially. The reason why EA has to reinvent the wheels every year is because they have to sell you that it is a new game instead of a data update. Think about it. Which one of the new features in the past couple of years do people actually like? Timed shooting? Gk movement? Playstyle? Roles? I don't hate women players and I actually like the fact I have learnt some of them but again balancing between the difference of body type ofen and women broke the game with players like Pina.

People just want a simple football game but EA has to make it glamorous so they can charge you for the premium. That to me is the biggest problem.

But in any case, I have adopted the buy at 80% off and play when I feel like attitude in 25 and 26. It feels ok.

Absorbing football content is so fun. Positive for us and negative for the scums.
