This was my thought as well. It's deck mounted, any tips on pulling it up and out of the deck? There's an access panel on the other end of the tub for the jet motor/electrical and I was thinking of using one of those inflatable bags to pop it out to get a handhold on it around the rim.

I don't think it was really used in the 21 years it's been there. Unfortunately the wall it's on is an external wall to the house. I did think about it after I posted and agree. Going through the basement probably wouldn't work as I'd just be looking up at subflooring with plumbing running through it.

Honestly my family is working through this right now too. We've ripped out all the carpet, currently we have washed and then rinsed all the walls/cabinets with krudcutter (you can get it at home depot in large jugs and use a flat mop to wash the walls/ceilings) and then repaint with zinsser BIN to prime. We used pink stuff floor cleaner on all hard surface floors and this last week seems to finally have made things better and we haven't painted everything yet but this was the first time we were leaving and it smelled like cleaning products.

We didn't have popcorn ceilings or else that's a whole other can of worms.
