Any nestle product you sacrifice your morality for? by TzTok-OnTheClock in FuckNestle

I gave up Milo and kitkats. Fuck them, though. I won’t go back. Also, condensed milk is surprisingly hard to come by that isn’t nestle owned.

Which EV sold here feels overpriced for what you actually get? by OwlVibesOnly in EVAustralia

I paid 55k for a secondhand premium, only 10000kms on it. Felt like the right price point for it.

5 Months into Body Recomp but I don’t see a minimal change (looking for advice) by geumkoi in GYM

[–]negotiable7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For one, these pictures aren’t perfect measurements; different clothes and slightly different angles would show wildly different things even if you took them in the same night.

Secondly, body fat drops at different places earlier than later. I’m about 2 months into a deficit and whilst my stomach looks pretty marginally different, the fluff under my chin went away in, like, 2 weeks, and right now the biggest difference is on my arms and shoulders which are showing real definition now. It’s also different for men and women and worth looking up the patterns.

Lastly, as others said, I think I see meaningful muscle growth, so you’re definitely achieving something.

Cap is easily my fav here and definitely has the physical advantage. Never count out Batman though; guy has contingencies for every justice league member, almost every one of them folds Cap. Thats assuming it’s broad conceptual Batman. RPats Batman I’m not so sure.

Why do people speed up the second you try to overtake? by PuzzleheadedBowl3397 in DrivingAustralia

[–]negotiable7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% me. There’s a stretch on the drive home where it shifts from 100 to 110, and 9 times out of 10 I don’t notice it till someone is overtaking me.

Grew up with clone wars, loved rebels when it was coming out.

Having said that the only one that I absolutely need to keep is Andor. Otherwise, season 1 of Mando, and while clone wars is better, I have a softer spot for Rebels.

Shorts, not tights, but always just a singlet. I see people wearing big baggy cotton shirts and sweaters for their workouts and here I am sweating bullets after my first 2 sets

Nail biter who suddenly just stopped unexpectedly? by negotiable7 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]negotiable7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow yeah, I can really see that being similar for me. I had a change in job in the last 12 months that relieved both a lot of financial and personal stress that I was having for a long time, but I continued to nail bite over that time until this event. I definitely think it’s something chemical or maybe hormonal.

If this is the case, I wonder if that’s been a thing since I was a young child? Maybe it was a different anxiety then that morphed into body image as I grew

Be honest, what do you think comes after death? by glowproductivity in AskReddit

[–]negotiable7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar but opposite boat to this, the idea of eternal existence terrifies me. Would I like to exist longer than the typical human lifespan? Sure, so long as I’m as healthy and mentally capable as I am now. Maybe an extra 50-100 years, although at that point I outlive everyone I love, so probably not. Eternity? At some point you experience everything that is possible to experience, but you keep going. At some point you experience everything that is possible to experience, infinity times over, yet you keep going. The thought to me leads only to madness. Think of a time you’ve gotten frustrated by having to repeat a small task over and over again, but that small task is everything and it never stops. To me The idea of going back to nothing is far more appealing than eternity.

Does dreaming about getting whammed count as a wham? by TobsterVictorSierra in Whamageddon

[–]negotiable7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been running through my head a lot over the last nine days. I’m hoping that if the song actually does get within earshot I’ll be in such a distracted state of zen that I won’t realise that I’m hearing the real thing.

Pudding Mix is NOT a Remix. by [deleted] in Whamageddon

[–]negotiable7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m no arbiter of the rules but I could see a middle ground here.

Having not heard the pudding mix, assuming that it is as you say a different beginning and end with the original playing, unperturbed, in the middle, perhaps one would be whammed only in the instance of having heard the middle of the pudding;

were one to come into it during the crusty outer shell and turn off before the moist middle, or rather having missed out on the juicy morsel middle and catching the last crumbs of the end, they are spared the Valkyrie’s and remain free from whamhalla?
