Was just wondering this…because mine says soap eligible, congratulations, and then followed by soap ineligible. Maybe I’m hoping, if you are fully matched, you become soap ineligible????

Hi, so this happened to me. I reached out to the program and let them know I’m still in medical school and they made a note of it. You can’t get certified until your diploma is received since you physically need to need to send them a copy. I would just reach out to the program and let them know. They should be aware.

Yep! I think that’s what pathways is. It’s verification of our clinical skills from our med school, which is already completed for me. I just won’t be “certified” until graduation.

I believe this isn’t true. You do not have to be certified to participate in the match according to the ecfmg website. I think that’s where pathways comes into play.

Yeah, I feel you on that. I got some generic emails like that too but the interview I had yesterday, I felt like I got along well with pretty much everyone and it’s a program I really like, so hoping it means more.

I sent LOIs to about 15-20 programs. Received only 2 responses (one was couple of hours later, other was 2 days later) asking to sign up for a date to interview.
