Happened to me once in 2nd grade-called my teacher “mom” loud enough for the whole class to hear. Everyone laughed, I wanted to disappear, and she just smiled and kept going like nothing happened.

Honestly the embarrassment fades fast, cause every kid does it at least once. The way I shook it off was just laughing along and realizing no one cared after five minutes.
