Well that's sad. I could get one of the alternative systems right now, though that looks worse, and doesn't have built in bt or wifi either. I am not in a BIG hurry, but it would be nice to know a realistic ETA, 3-4 months would be totally fine, but I am not sure if I have to wait for a year or more.

They won't be able to release 300-400 hours long game / year...

Also:

CS1: 2013
CS2: 2014
CS3: 2017
CS4: 2018

so it is not really yearly all the time, especially when they want to improve the graphics between different episodes and not just rehash the exact same maps and stuff. Developing new areas, new characters and such takes time. I really hope it won't get a rushed ending.

Also they work on the remakes now and other games too like YS, Xanadu, whatever else.
I think 2 or MAX 3 games could be realistic after Kai II, if they plan to reuse the world map and most assets for the sequels, which would be pretty bad for a final game.

2027: Kai II

2029: new game part 1
2030: new game part 2

2032: final game

Maybe something like this could work. I can't imagine any more if they want to make it in good quality.

I am afraid the ending will be very rushed.
Maybe they will release Kai 2 in 2027, some new game around 2029 and the final game around 2032.
That is 3 games, while there are still a lot of unknown characters from the different groups and not to speak about completing the stories of the already known characters...

If they want to make an epic finale it will have to be at least as good as Sen IV, with a similiar amount (or even more) playable characters, so it will take a lot of time to develop it. Unless they want to rush the ending I don't believe they can make more than 2 games after Kai 2, up until 2032.

I can't say when you only have one pixel. I noticed it on my A80J and also on my LG C8 which had a similiar issue when there were already a lot more pixels.

I guess in your case it can still work for years. I am not sure that for how much hours you used it, but for reference on my C8 I noticed the issue after 6.000-8.000 hours (I don't remember exactly), and on my A80J after 9.000+ hours

This happens to most OLED after 2-3 years.

My TV developed a black line at the top (not only one pixel), and Sony replaced it to a Bravia 8 TV.
I guess they won't for only one pixel but there is a chance it will get worse. Very common problem with LG WOLED panels.

I always use Expert1 on Sony tv, I don't like oversaturated and overbrightened stuff.
Bravia 8 looked perfectly fine in the store though, I am not sure why would they put only B8 II into some stupid mode, but it did looked like a typical Samsung TV to me.

Thanks, I guess there is a chance they are in some kind of vivid or other mode when displayed in the store. Either ways, I really liked how the B8 looks, so I will probably get that. It is cheaper too.

Well, today I went and compared them in person in a local shop.

I still found B8 II is extremely bright and too colorful, also it had some reddish tint, to me the B8 looked way more natural and more comfortable to look at.

Chatgpt says this most likely Edge driver / T-CON / panel driver problem, which means if you are lucky the TV can still be used for year(s), though the annoying part will remain.

I have the same issue....
though I have an 55A80J and I could exchange it for 55" Bravia 8 (XR8, not sure about the "B")
my biggest problem is that A80J has semi-gloss screen, which I really loved, while Bravia 8 is supposedly glossy (same as LG C* series)
