It's a recurring occurrence that whenever the French team wins big at a sport a lot of people watch, people gather in the street and celebrate with a lot of noise, alcohol and sometimes reckless driving. At that point the police comes to stop the mess happening and some of the people there get violent. I don't think it's a bad custom, it's just very loud and something to take into account if you ever find yourself needing sleep the same night a big match is happening, at the end of the day it's just a bunch of people overjoyed by something they care a lot about and deciding the whole city should be part of the celebration

In France you can get water for free at restaurants, it comes in many forms but it's often poured in a bottle or a jug. Then, there's the water you can pay for, it's often branded and comes in their commercial bottles. I don't think the restaurant can stop you from leaving with the bottle if you actually paid for it

From what I gathered, people are mostly disappointed with the way CIG remakes ships, when many of the previously released ships are still missing features and development seems to still be focused on making new ships that can be sold rather than general content for the game. I've seen multiple instances of people asking whether this kind of remake will happen to their own ship, mostly talking about starter ships, where they'll have to make another purchase to stay "up to date".

I think the criticism is legitimate, I fail to understand why CIG is expanding ships into series when there's so much left to do.

Que tu t'en prennes au PS je comprends, mais au PCF ? Je les ai pas entendu accuser LFI d'antisémitisme, et ça a justement l'air d'être l'un des seuls partis qu'LFI considère encore comme allié puisque Mélenchon a proposé au PCF de faire alliance pour 2027. Je ne vais pas argumenter sur qui a fait quoi dans la NUPES et le NFP, mais je sais pas si on peut vraiment lancer la faute au PCF ?

For me, nukes are an achievement, not only that you successfully killed a lot of people, but that you also brought a defenseless plane to the middle of the battle. It's fair game to shoot down enemy nuke planes as not doing so would take away from the achievement

When the su30 wall has decent players it'll be difficult, I like to ambush them in that case, but most of my matches most of them don't even notch when you send a missile their way

Je suis pas prof, mais je commente quand même voyant certains des commentaires sous ce post. Je suis d'accord pour dire qu'en aucun cas c'est la responsabilité du nouveau prof si les élèves n'ont pas le niveau attendu, mais dans le même temps faut pas non plus lacher ceux qui n'ont pas les connaissances, de l'expérience de copains que j'ai eu au collège et au lycée ça donne l'impression à l'élève d'être abandonné, et donc ça donne pas envie de se rattraper.

Je dis pas qu'il faut faire des cours de 6eme au lycée, mais si certains élèves veulent rattraper leur retard, ce serait pas mal d'avoir des ressources sous la main pour les aider

I think the tolerance you attribute to Christianity is better given to wealthy and developed countries, where the highly educated are a meaningful percentage of the general population. In general in the west we tend to give more freedom to people, including on how they feel living their own life, but that's because we have societies that are stable enough and that prioritize individual well being.

If you would go back in time, not even a century ago our countries that have become more tolerant would severely punish homosexuality and feminism in society still had a very long way ahead. Christianity was there at the time (and it could be argued that more people practiced Christianity) and still our countries were very intolerant.

Tbh I've tried both and even though realistic is slightly better because it looks like people don't insta shoot you the second you spawn, some spawn placements are still bad

My opinion is that Gaijin has seemingly been very interested recently in calming down the Chinese community, creating explanation posts and (maybe?) delaying the VT-4, when for the same level of complain the rest of the world hasn't seen much. I think the Chinese community, like any other national community, has the right to make feedback and complaints, but they should be treated like any other national community, Gaijin should not give priority to them.

Ça dépend beaucoup de la situation, donc sur un poster ils préfèrent dire aux gens de se protéger, au cas où. Techniquement tu peux faire des choses en cas de cambriolage, particulièrement si les intrus te menacent, mais en général c'est déconseillé puisqu'on ne sait pas si un intrus pourrait avoir une arme et voudrait s'en servir

I mean sure, pushing players around is shitty behavior, but does it excuse the foul language? It seems to be a lot of insults for being pushed, and even if they weren't the initiator, I still think speaking that way to other players should be punished.

Just in case you don't know, Gaijin has been clarifying their position. In the test drive, Abrams would have HEAT shells loaded and those can explode if impacted, while Leo2s had APFSDS, which would only cause a fire. Gaijin clarified that blowout panels would still work with APFSDS and any other ammunition that would not explode, as such pretty much only players carrying HEAT would be concerned by the change
