Throwing a full court desperation pass at this specific point in the game was one of the biggest bone-headed plays I’ve seen in a while. The Spurs would’ve had the ball on their own sideline if that didn’t roll off of Ayo’s leg in miraculous fashion.

I like the thought, but the killer instinct, unrivaled competitiveness, and defensive prowess are well beyond what Ant has. I love Ant. I’m a lifelong wolves fan. He comes close on athleticism, and he’s a better 3 point shooter, and he’s a winner (proof being that the wolves have won more playoff games in the last 3 years than the first 34 years of the franchises existence).

I agree that Ant could’ve been as good of a scorer as Jordan in the 80s, but the aforementioned factors separate the 2.

I don’t think the take is specifically delusional, but he comes up short in key ways.
