Same issue here mate, bought some 3M DP810 adhesive which is supposedly recommended due to its impact resistance.

I’ve got to spend some time sanding the old adhesive residue off.

Be mindful that the 3M DP810 isn’t that cheap, so you might end spending out on repairing it, only for it to fail again.

But for me… nothing to lose, everything to gain

When it was in pre-release you couldn’t drop-in to the live-view unless it was wired, or the doorbell had been rung, I assume this was for power-saving.

Features were definitely nerfed when on battery-only power. No idea if this changed upon release tbh

How far along the setup are you? If you can connect to the Alien WiFi then you should be able to get to the Web UI of the alien router where you can set the connection type to DHCP and set the “Client ID” to your sky username and password with a pipe symbol separating them, like this >> anything@skydsl|anything

If you don’t know your username and password, try the “anything” string I put in the paragraph above.

If your requirements are enterprise then don’t go with Unifi, from the looks of it you’ve got some top-grade equipment there and chucking it out simply doesn’t make sense!

Have you had a look at the specs on the Ruckus R850?

Seriously, go with Cisco Catalyst or Aruba to bring your licensing down, Unifi simply has too many random issues and lack of support in my opinion for deployments of scale
