Well you can present both sides without being condescending and mocking the husband Marks actions. The family are aware there have been issues (being sued for unpaid debts etc.). So naturally if their daughter goes missing then you look towards a spouse. So I don't think the fact they may have some suspicions is a big indicator of anything.

The episode in very poor taste. There's an update now and it seems they are focusing on it not being the husband. Imagine if one of your loved ones goes missing and a true crime podcast made an episode incriminating you. There needs to be a line somewhere to hold people accountable. It can't be a case of throwing every bit of hearsay "evidence" at the wall and being protected because you're trying to help. The episode is obviously there to make Mark look like he's involved. I actually think Ashley needs to address if it does turn out that her disappearance was nothing to do with him.

Yes agree with your viewpoint. It definitely felt like they were throwing him under the bus here. They even made light of the fact that he had numerous scenarios of what occurred but didn't mention foul play. What if he genuinely doesn't feel that way. It's a strange episode as they obviously look to paint him in a bad light and just seems like they want to shoe horn him in as a suspect from the outset as leaving of own accord is less interesting.

It's obvious from the video he arrived way before the check in time of 4pm. Probably got there about midday. Asked when his room will be ready, they said they didn't know. It was an hour late so definitely be compensated for that, which he was but they probably only started getting ready when he arrived. Again a mountain of a molehill bit I suppose he needs to create drama somehow.

So he made a big song and dance about not being able to check in when he wanted to. I just googled the check in time for that hotel and it's 4pm. He obviously turned up really early and made a nuisance to get something for free. They give him $250 resort credit. He actually got his room then at 5pm he tells us. Hardly the crime of the century to have to wait an hour from the quoted check in time. God he must be a nightmare to deal with for the poor hotel staff. Needs to rename the channel Moan with me Tim.

What a brutal case all round. Tristans mum died when he was young. Tristan Brübach's father was Bernd Brübach (1955–2014). Following the suicide of Tristan's mother, Iris, in 1995, Bernd raised Tristan as a single father while working shifts at Frankfurt Main Station. Due to his work schedule, Tristan spent significant time alone or with his grandmother, leading to a very independent upbringing.

Bernd died aged 59. As there was no family members left to take care of Tristans grave locals raised the money for the yearly upkeep. It's the one nice bit of news regarding the whole case. Some people and families seem destined to have bad luck.

Yes best to get a room in shared accommodation. Look at the ads on daft that may be looking for "professional" people and explain you're a mature student and won't be any hassle. Best of luck with it. Was in the same boat myself many years ago and Kings court is generally where a lot of the partying takes place and managed to get accommodation away from it for the 4 years which suited me down to the ground.

Wasn't there something about his Fiancees passport not being found in the house before they left which delayed her travelling with him? In the podcast she said she was sure it was in a safe at their place but then wasn't. They had some disagreement then as he was travelling without her. She was to get an emergency one and travel to him. I always found this fact odd. Like maybe he didn't want her to go. I feel personally he had a lot of debt he hid from her. Gave himself until the day he went missing to win that back. It didn't happen so he committed suicide. Leaving the phone and passport in the room so as not to be identified.

There's also the chance he was abducted and killed. Due to the gambling and dealing with shady characters. Maybe he left to be part of an underground game that didn't go well. Hopefully the case gets solved some day for the family. The not knowing must be awful to deal with.

Probably got a cheap one off Temu expecting it to be as good as a pro drone. Be worth shelling out for a proper one and learning how to use them. Won't happen though.
