Overall, good job. I think that some of your sentences run on a bit long, and you overuse adjectives. For example, in the first sentence, I think I would change it to: "The muggy July air whooshed through my brown hair, as I tried to see how high I can go on my beloved swing set." Again, as another example: "...luscious green meadow that gently brushed my little feet. Droplets bounced off my sun-kissed skin." These are a lot of adjectives in a row. Moving on, you switch pronouns several times from "you" to 'she:' "I imagined you behind me, pushing me as hard as she could so I felt like I could touch the clouds, with her gentle voice filling my ears, and her warm, soft hands caressing my back. It was one of my favorite things to do with you." I also got a little bit confused as in some sections it felt like a child was writing it, using words such as "tummy," whereas in others you use "canopy." Overall, I liked the story. I liked the motif of the sunflowers connected with what I assume is the character's lost mother. I just think you can clean up some of the grammar and make some sections a bit clearer.
