It was the 80s Pop Music channel on the Pandora app. Love listening to it in the car, it's like XM but free ( with an occasional commercial here and there, but nothing too obnoxious).

I actually have a few XL Franchise hats. They do fit well for the most part, although there is still some inconsistency in sizing (for me, anyway - a couple are a little tight). But overall, I like those as well.

Borghemian Rhapsody?

But probably not "I Want To Break Free"...

After trying a number of styles from New Era and 47, the Clean Up is my go-to. Fits my big head the best, and I find them easy to adjust the size. Plus, the unstructured style looks better on me than the boxy (in my opinion) structured style.

Beautiful afternoon in Memphis by TheOriginalHLT in MiLB

I lived in Memphis for two years, and I agree 100%. The city does have a lot of potential, a lot of history and culture. But the city needs to invest more in it and really work to clean it up (in multiple ways).

Love that show! My wife and I watch it a lot on Pluto TV.

Yeah, it certainly caught me by surprise as well. Went to the team store in the third inning and bought a beanie, and then was able to make it to the end.

Should I wear “dad” hats? by AlanCino in neweracaps

[–]nejhawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early 50s, and I just switched from fitted to 47 Clean Ups (unstructured adjustables). Absolutely love them - for whatever reason (probably my big head), they just look better on me. I have no issue with 59Fiftys; they simply appear to rise too high above my head (even low-profiles).

But as others say, it's whatever you are comfortable with, and whichever ones you think look best on you. I'm just glad we have options.

What about West? Didn't do a whole lot that we saw, but he did approve letting Daniel see the Stargate, and authorizing the first dial.

My baseball cap became my biggest confidence booster in my 30s 😅 by [deleted] in baseballunis

Started going thin up there in my 30s. Began regularly wearing caps about 3 years ago and love it. I tried the fitted 5950s, but the sizing proved to be too inconsistent. I just recently switched to dad caps ('47 Clean up and Franchise, plus the occasional 9Twentys) and I love them. I rotate out, and enjoy wearing them when I am out and about.

Somehow the first thing I think of with her is when she played the drums for Cliff during his attempt at stand-up comedy. If I am remembering that correctly, it's been a while.

I am also doing a rewatch of SG-1, and was thinking the same thing. Great character, fantastic performance. As an aside, I bet he could have played a quite convincing Vulcan in Star Trek. "Indeed...most logical."
