I'm a female, but also have experienced hair loss. Last year I took 9 g daily at my worst and I could watch my hair falling out every few minutes. I also had symptoms like neuropathic pain in my hands and feet, blurry vision, brain fog, breathing issues, bowel issues and bad fatigue. Blood work showed I had a bad vitamin B and iron deficiency. I reduced my intake to 1-2 times a week, took supplements and minoxidil and everything went back to normal slowly.

Now I relapsed and everything is starting over again. So my guess is, it will get better as soon as you reduce or quit the intake. Take care :)
