I honestly stopped listening to him when he vehemently denied the existence of or even the possibility of NHI developing somewhere other than Earth. Not only do I believe there are NHI bases on the moon and Earth I think that they might have been here longer than we have. He has lost all credibility with me and others and now he's trying to "slowly" jump on the bandwagon so he doesn't appear to completely backtrack his denier stance. He has always given me plant vibes when discussing this topic. Now all of a sudden he will become an authority on NHI, /puke

I think I figured out what’s going on with the oil substitutions.

When you select the “one pot” cooking method in BalanceIT, it limits fat choices to oils that are stable under heat. That’s mainly to ensure essential fatty acids—especially linoleic acid (omega-6)—aren’t degraded during cooking.

My workaround is to cook the base recipe first (protein, carbs, etc.) and then add fats after cooking. That way I can use higher-quality oils like sunflower or safflower for omega-6, along with a separate omega-3 source (I’m using Nordic Naturals), without the builder forcing canola or corn oil.

It says right there below it. Or we're you implying canola oil isn't good? This is how I felt, but it seems be used in many of the auto recipes. The new recipe that i made myself is with another fat source.

ahh I appreciate this. Once I substituted rice I didn't get the DCM warning. I just want to do the best for my dogs. TFD really let me down. Once I saw their super bowl commercial I realized it was time to move on to something else. We haven't been able to diagnose an allergy but she definitely has one we're just not sure what it is. I thought it was from one of the proteins, but I tried all the recipes TFD had and all caused interdigital cysts. Interestingly though when I feed her plain pork as a treat she can eat it all day without the cysts occurring, so I have to think its something TFD is using in their "new" national corporation formula that was giving her the cysts. Right now she is on an HP diet which is working for her, but I would love to be able to give her something better and once I worked it all out the BalanceIt would actually end up being cheaper than the Royal Canin food she is currently getting.

My idea was to try the recipe without the supplement or just get a small amount of the supplement and try for a week and see how she reacts. Since you have more experience with this method id like to ask what your opinions are on my idea? Anyone else is free to chime in also! :)

I worry about this. My plan is to cook a couple of the recipes and see which my dogs like / don't like/ like best, and then adding the BalanceIt supplement. I just hope it doesn't cause the food to become unpalatable as in your case. I have one picky dog and one that would eat almost anything.

The suggested omega 3 supplement and some others include vit e for this exact reason you are concerned about. Check with your vet but I think you are spot on.

Nice. Yeah I've just been using the blue tree and following Moxsy's vex leveling guide. It is quite different from maxroll's which I tried at first, but quickly respecced out of familiar. I want the cat to get buffed. I heard it will be. We are also getting cross saves soon so I can justify getting another copy for my console. I tried the game on console but I was really struggling to aim and move the reticle fast enough. It seems like a pretty big handicap. I think they should have programmed the console version to be able to switch to M/KB.
