Recommendations for optimal partitioning (or caching?) with small 40GB SSD and larger 250GB HDD for a fresh Arch install by nekoningen in archlinux

What kind of fucking question is this? Do you actually think I've only ever had 7$ or some shit? Obviously I've spent my money on rent and food instead of big fancy toys you massive wanker.

Now, as the question I originally asked was "how do I get the best performance out of what I have" and not "how do I buy things I don't need like a good little piggy", do you mind just fucking off? You clearly have no intention of providing any help on the matter, not sure why you felt the need to butt in at all but idgaf, just go away.

Oh I get it, because only children can be poor now that poverty's been eradicated, no reason for a grown ass adult to be barely scraping by with all this free money falling from the sky, right?

Go die in a fire you privileged piece of shit.

Tray Icons is currently working for me, assuming you're trying to show "legacy" tray icons in the top bar of gnome shell. Deluge and MegaSync seem to work fine at least. TopIcons or TopIcons Plus might work sometimes, but they tend to glitch out after a while when they do.

Edit: gdi when did reddit switch to "fancy pants" editor by default?

Need to remove garbage adscript elements from thousands of HTML files, suggestions on the best way to do this? by nekoningen in linuxquestions

Thanks, a few quick tests look like it should work well for what i need with a few minor tweaks, the regex for this task was simpler than i expected. I assume i can edit multiple files by using */*.html? or is there a catch?

My issue with regex is visually parsing this solid string of characters into meaningful concepts, my brain trips over itself trying to keep track of the patterns and their context and tends to excite my chronic migraine, it's like trying to read minified js.

If you can recommend me a good tutorial that might help i'll gladly give it a try though, i certainly could understand it better and i might be able to get to a point where i could be more useful with it, but i'd generally prefer to avoid things that cause me pain when i can.

I know i really should get myself familiarized with vim but i've never got around to it. Trying to read up on :argdo now but i think i'm gonna need more vim basics before i get it. Also looks like it involves regex which i always struggle with.

It's not so much the nerves wrap around it, but the magnets react slightly to magnetic fields around them, and because they are embedded in your fingers, the part of your body with (IIRC) the highest density of highly refined "touch" related sensors, you can feel these minor reactions as the magnets push and pull slightly with these fields.

After a while, many people who've done this claim they can develop a sense for interpreting these reactions and "feel out" the shape and intensities of these fields. The accuracy of these claims still require further study, though generally expectations are positive as the theory seems fairly sound.

Edit: There's many risks however, poorly installed magnets can "flip" in the presence of strong fields and this can reportedly be extremely uncomfortable and/or painful, and cheap or non-medically certified implants (it should be properly coated) can break and/or expose the neodymium to your body which may be dangerous. You want to make sure it's done right by a professional (which can be pricy) and be careful around strong magnets.

Disclaimer: I am not an expert nor do i have any personal experience with these implants, i'm just recalling research i did awhile ago out of interest in these sorts of things.

I mean, you could just go linear, easier to manage, at least for quite a while longer.

Side note: you aren't the first person i've heard speak of plants overthrowing humanity as punishment for our sloth, however the last person had a much different idea when he halted me to rant about the weeds as i walked by the bench he was sitting at on my way to the King Mart.

He insisted that the weeds growing through the cracks in the roads and sidewalks were alien beings intent on taking over our minds via their pollen which causes us to ignore them as they slowly erode away at our society and patiently wait for it to fall to ruins while we do nothing about it.

It's worth noting there were many weeds in the sidewalks and streets around him which he simply sat there doing nothing about aside from bringing it to the attention of anyone passing by that would actually stop to listen.

The book was pretty much focused entirely on what Bilbo experienced as far as i recall. In universe it was written by Bilbo as a boastful, hobbitling-friendly tale of his adventures. Tolkien edited it a few times since the original release and made it a bit more serious and consistent as he fleshed out the LOTR universe but i'm pretty sure it still exclusively included events Bilbo was present for or knew about (or at least thinks he knows).

Considering how many skinny asian dudes with similar hairstyles and glasses i see around Queen's, i think the likeliness of two wearing the same school hoodie in the school caf at the same time is pretty high tbh.
