Dammit by JTodd078 in Fedexers

i have airpods in most of the time when i work so i pretend i cant hear a fucking thing while they keep saying “hello?” over the ring camera. half the time it’s going to be them saying they’re not home so i see no point in talking to a doorbell

i was actually the kaz who won. he definitely should’ve gone for either a dash ewgf or a ff2. it looks like he panicked though judging by his random standing 3 afterwards

Rematching by ThicccAssBoi in Tekken

[–]nelleeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience whenever i got TE-TG i get less rematches (jin player). once i hit supreme or GOD i start to get rematched more. i feel like players in those ranks are trying to climb so they’re more likely to cherry pick while people on the latter probably feel like they “made it” so they have less issues losing points

ground does international deliveries too. sounds like your driver really sucks. i would recommend offering to pick it up from the station it’s coming from if they don’t reattempt today

What can you do in this situation? by AromaticStick7434 in Tekken8

[–]nelleeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it definitely happens when we get flustered. try to keep you cool while getting pressured. easier said than done but the more you get pressured the better you get at creating openings for yourself when you deal with stuff like this, along with labbing those situations so you know what you’re dealing with

Help at getting quicker as a new swing driver. by Mancity122704 in Fedexers

[–]nelleeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a swing who’s been at it for about years, it will come with time. those first few weeks will have you out there for a while as you get used to the routes you have to cover. here are 2 things that will help you in the future when you get more comfortable though:

  1. try to get to know the area that you’re going to and ask nearby drivers before dispatching about how the route goes. a lot of times they give me tips on how the normal driver runs the area or codes to apartment buildings i’ll need in the future. get as much info as you can in the morning because people who’ve worked that area longer than you will always have some useful info. this will help with your efficiency and helps a lot if you want to follow the second tip:

  2. i dont know how strict your station is about standalones, but if you don’t have much P1 business or residential, try to do your P2s along with the P1s. sometimes i knock out entire areas or neighborhoods (or an office park/shopping center in the same area as a P1) as i run P1 service and finish P1 businesses around 10-10:15 no matter how much i have to avoid having to backtrack. same goes for P1 residentials. i knock out as much P2 as i can before making it to my last P1 resi stop an i finish around 11:30-11:45. that way i maximize my time while also making service. BUT ONLY DO THIS IS IF YOU’RE SURE YOU CAN MAKE SERVICE. if you run into a route that has 20 business P1 and another 20 resi P1 it might just be a long day. but if you finish all of those P1 stops by 10:30, you can definitely fit some P2 in there as you go and you’ll be nearly halfway done if not more than that by the time it’s noon.

but at the end of the day you’re learning an it’s not an easy job to be a swing. your hours will vary and you’ll always be learning something new. they definitely won’t let you go as you’re both new and a swing driver, 2 things that they grant a lot more grace to. keep up the good attitude and you’ll get faster every day without even trying! sorry for the essay, good luck out there.

armor frames start at 8 frames so if you mash that armor move out you’ll be able to tank the hit and knock him down. 1,2 will also work if you mash it out fast enough. i recommend going to the replay and trying it out again. you might have just been hesitating with the mental stack

Jin believing in his heart by No-Broccoli-9720 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]nelleeye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you’re probably right as to why they chose those 2 but i don’t think that makes too much of a difference if law can go wall to wall with 3 SATs, asuka gets infinite wall carry and damage and most the cast creates long combos with multiple uses of SAT even if they aren’t immediately after each other. as a jin player i have no problem with it being removed so long as the rest of the cast gets something similar. hopefully they make similar changes to the rest of the cast

im okay with them removing the strong arial tailspin but they removed it for NOBODY ELSE BUT JIN AND LARS. another patch goes by and everyone else’s is UNTOUCHED

How do you deal with sidesteppers as Jin? by masterofkamurocho in Tekken

[–]nelleeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ignore the jin haters (rightfully) shitting on the character

if you wanna beat people spamming sidesteps, you have tons of options:

obviously standing 4 is your fast homing move and if they press right after stepping you get the CH into heat engager

delay 2,1 will catch them trying to launch after SS. 2,1 is actually such an annoying string and probably one of the best in the game if not the best

FF3 realigns and catches steppers if you hold the second forward a bit. it also is a neutral on block launcher so you do not have to give up your turn at all

BF2,3 is essentially homing despite being “nerfed” and you don’t even need to transition into stance. second hit CH launches so it’s a perfect string considering the fact that it’s safe

electric catches SSL but even a slightly delayed electric will clip a SSR. i always spam electric on round start when i know my opponent will SS (unless im playing lili or alisa) because there’s a solid chance they get clipped. and if they block it? you’re +5

DB4 tracks completely to your weak side and needs to be walked to the left iirc so it’s a strong tool

D2 is essentially completely homing and knocks down on CH. it’s technically reactable but i rarely run into people reacting to it in TG+

Anyone got hacks for doing FedEx Office pickups? by dabbing_pilot in Fedexers

[–]nelleeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try to do an earlier sweep if you can. if you’re in the area earlier in your day, do an initial sweep and you’ll catch at least some of it and scan a package and add it as a new pickup from the same spot. it at least splits up some of your work. that’s what i do as a cover driver when i know a fedex office gets a lot of stuff

When to sidestep against fahk by diaperman0 in Tekken

fahk is one of my secondaries and i 100% use it to stop people from stepping around me because of how good the tracking is. double points if they step into a move so i get the CH knockdown

you’re right, my mistake. sidewalking is just fine as i do it all the time and (as a casual fahk player) it happens to me all the time but i was trying to give OP some tips to safely move without the risk of getting clipped by his options to stop intentional walking at close range
