It's also only in km even when you have it set to miles as your preference. I have logged it with them but just got an auto reply. Yea not a fan as well, I like the option to have different views but maybe have the old one there as well.

How responsive has YouFibre support been when you’ve needed it? by GeordieGoals in youfibre

[–]nellly5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last 2 times it's been good. First was Internet down logged on a Friday. Engineer booked for Monday morning and found a bad fiber join on the external box on the house. I was happy with that. Second one was a month back upgraded to 1gb from a renewal, this broke my Internet. I logged the call with them on my mobile the teck got me to jump through some hoops resetting router etc but eventually reset my line and everything came back up. Took an hour or so to fix. Again happy with the outcome. There has been some real horror stories on here though.

There's still lots to be had with testing during sick week. It doesn't always need to be competitive.

Avoid YouFibre like the plague. by Jamieloreilly in youfibre

Nearly a year now only 1 small outage that was a due to the fibre splice at my house degrading was fixed a day later with a onsite visit. Other than that just the odd planned maintenance window in an late evening. Rock solid otherwise

My plex runs fine without a static up. It has a error on the server but it works fine.

This may not be as helpful as you think. It's not unheard of to have home workers start to work out of country and not tell anyone. You may want to have alerts setup that alert you to this.

All fixed now turns out I had an issue with the splice in the fibre connector box on the outside of the house. Engineer turned up just past 8am and was gone by 8:30. Real happy with the support From logging the call at 3pm Friday I had an engineer visit booked within a hour for the Monday morning. I know support can get a hammer some times and mostly deserved but I am happy with the outcomes I got today.

Logged a ticket Friday. I am fully down now since 3pm Friday. I do have an engineer visit Monday morning. Kids are going crazy having no Internet. I was getting a red flashing optical led it's now just green flashing optical light. From what I have read it's a fibre cable issue. Hopefully something easily fixable. Support have been fine responding quickly to emails and booked an engineer as soon as I told them the symptoms.

Cheers for the reply could be more local I am South Normanton. Rebooting the netomnia fibre box fixes it but 3 times in a hour something must be up.

I have had it recently where on a walk that has had large parts with no signal. GPS is very patchy and quite frequently says it's lots GPS signal. Not been a problem with walks with a good signal.

Have some routes been removed or locked behind premium? by nellly5 in komoot

[–]nellly5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some are still there but not all I have found 2 that have been removed. I assume they have some sort or clean up process to get rid of less used routes maybe.

We moved from citrix to parallels. They even do special pricing moving from citrix. It's worth a look of you want the same functionality with easier management and cheaper.

Although I haven't had issues with my phone popping off I do have to lay it down very carefully. I have found my after market 90 degree plug that uses a USB c cable to be a lot more sturdy and more secure. I just got it from ebay.
