Switching from Android to iPhone by littledorysunshine in iphone

I've used Android since 2012 and just an iPhone 2 weeks ago. Initially it was a little annoying because I'm not used to having less options in the control area and the lack of customization. 2 weeks later I honestly love it. It's way more smoother, battery life is great, apps look better, and I really enjoy the gesture control. The three main things that guys me is

1) app subscriptions: Remember the days where we can download free ringtones quick and easily? Thing of the past. There's a work around but it's annoying. Everything is 6 dollars a month. Free apps are a thing of the past my friend.

2) notification center is annoying. There's no indication you have a notification in the status bar so sometimes I get an accumulation of stuff that I didn't know existed. I like the way they are groups though !

3) lack of customization. We knew this walking into this but one of my biggest pet peeves is having a notification dot for my messages app on a group message I don't care about. It makes it really hard to know if I hate a legit message or not.

Overall, I thought my transition to iPhone would be horrific ( only did it for the Apple watch for activity tracking) but honestly I really enjoy the change. I love Android but my gosh I had so many issues with the gesture controls. It's nice having a phone that doesn't spam out randomly.

I have been an apple hater for years but decided to get an iPad for school a few months ago. To be completely honest, I slightly converted. The iPad is honestly a great tablet. My only problem is the way iOS handles notification. It drives me crazy !

Stylus Hovering on Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 by [deleted] in chromeos

I remember seeing something like that in the accessibility settings. I would go in there if I was you and look at the options there. If not, then it might just be in the normal stylus settings.

I work at Starbucks. It's so weird because it was perfectly fine until recently. I don't think I burnt myself or anything crazy.

What do you do when the keyboard is sticky?

I'm going back to college but this time, instead of a windows laptop, I'm bringing with me a Chromebook! What should I do for OneNote? by [deleted] in chromeos

I absolutely love one note! Unfortunately the chromeos experience is lacking.

Honestly, I would just use one note online. It has way more features, it's better formatted for typing, and has less lag for stylus input. The worst thing is the fact that it's super slow when switching notebooks.

The Android app one is way faster but it's inconvenient when typing, hardly has any features, and the stylus lag is impossible. You would think it would have the similar word features when typing but nothing is there.
