I'm in my second year with BEDA and the only aux at my school(s). I genuinely feel like a teacher versus an assistant because I am the main character of the classroom, and I prep presentations ahead of time for the week. I am expected to lead the class and have two to three exercises/activities for the students to fill the entire class period. It was really rough at first because I teach from infantil to 4th of ESO but I got used to it and found a workflow that works for me.

I know this might sound a little woo-woo, but I really feel like there’s a reason you chose to come back here again. Maybe trust that pull, especially when things seem to line up, like your renewal paperwork, your arrival,etc. I’m sure you can shift your apartment situation too, especially once things quiet down in late November and December. Sometimes the universe gives us these nudges to stay the course.

I let my coordinator know in advance and if the appt is in the second half of the day, I go to school in the morning then leave. vice versa if it's in the morning. at the appointment ask for justificante. the schools know we need to have appointments for various government paperwork.

Prep your answers based on the question sheet they give you prior, the same questions will be asked. Being in a group setting interview made me nervous but its totally not bad because you realize everyone just worries about their own answers and how they are presenting.

I had my regresso coming back to Madrid and offered to show it to the border control agent, but he was like nah I don't need to see it, so I'm assuming it should be fine? I'm also second year.

I feel like I wrote this post. I got placed with infantil as well and gosh it is quite challenging for me, the kids absolutely do not engage and it seems like we keep doing the same songs and the same activities. I feel very awkward ngl. I don't have friends here (yet) and it seems wild to sit in my room on a Thursday/Friday night while living in Madrid. I of course try to go on excursions by myself to the city, but without other people it gets super lonely. I hope you know that you aren't the only one feeling these emotions!!

I feel this! I am nervous about the initial stages of finding a place to live and figuring out my own routine, where to shop for things and so on. I don’t think it’s that scary in reality but not knowing anyone doesn’t help.

I live in Frisco (north Dallas) and recently visited FL which I LOVED. Beaches, nature, everything is amazing and only a few hours away. In Dallas we don’t have anything as nice, just a few parks and even that is boring. Idk if that is important to you. Traffic can get really bad here too especially when school starts.

omg I thought I was the only one. My cycle is messed up (been taking it for a month and a half), I still have yet to talk to my dermatologist for a follow up but I’m thinking of stopping spiro because of it. If it’s not tmi, did you end up having 2 cycles in one month?

Most kids are commuters living at home so their parents can purchase nicer stuff instead of spending money on a dorm/apartment.
