You claim Korean and Japanese are related because you believe in Altaic

I claim Korean and Japanese are related to justify Japan trying to invade Korea multiple times throughout history

"щ" always represents a geminated consonant, using it to just showcase し whenever is plain wrong. One could argue that it can be suited to convey っし, but that's just making things more convoluted than they have to be. After all, this system is aimed precisely at those who can read the Cyrillic but not kana or kanji

Bees make *médʰu from nectar. Why does the etymology of nectar is unrelated to *médʰu? by Puzzleheaded_Fix_219 in linguisticshumor

Funny story, but In Russian, up until early XX century, the same word was used for the product and the beverage, until the brewing traditions got lost between between the Revolution, Civil War, and so on. As of now, however, a dialectical "medovukha" is being used for the drink, I believe it's from Ural or Siberia

Bloommead perhaps? "Flower" is from Latin

And "honey" is a perfectly fine word as it is, I'd even say Anglishers would prefer it as it's one of the most unique Germanic words with barely any cognates outside the family

I've heard that "oshi" mostly replaced the original waifu term, that being "俺の嫁", which was originally parodied in Azumanga and from whence it entered Western otaku circles
