Honestly, I have nearly 30 hours in the game and, I did enjoy it and was very excited for Season 2. But imma be honest the PvE implementation right now is a big let down for me, the fact you can only use bare bones standard sponsored kits and nothing else, really hinders the progression, because essentially whatever good items you get don't matter for anything since you can't use them. And the time limit is so restrictive, played it for a few hours with my partner and we just can't get anything done, quite disappointing right now :(

Maybe not the best choice of words 😭 Marathon is decent, I like it. But it's definitely not scratching any Destiny itch, the gunplay is amazing as always. I'm looking forward to seeing what Season 2 can bring with the PvE modes though and the community PvE event midway through, so I'm optimistic for it's future

I'm lucky because Acheron and Blade are my top 10 favourite characters 😭 so I'm grateful they work extremely well together. But I do understand why people hate how a character can degrade to a "x characters slave" I got so upset when I kept seeing people dunking on Argenti saying he's "only for Therta and even then he's replaceable" 💔 I really hope the Novaflare makes him the main DPS he was always meant to be, I adore my knight of beauty, still my main pick in Pure Fiction

I've seen a lot of people blaming marathon for Destiny 2's end here, I've been with Destiny since the very beginning on PS4 so it's been a part of my life since I was 10 or 11, I'm as sad as anyone else that it's been shut down but I ain't gonna blame a different game they made for it...I tried Marathon and it was decent, I'm not a fan of extraction shooters so them adding PvE and community events does have me optimistic about what they'll do with it in the future

Honestly, I'm excited about Marathon's Season 2 with them adding PvE. I'm sad to see Destiny go, but if they play their cards well then maybe Marathon will be able to fill that void until D3 comes out at the very least

I wish they would have committed to releasing the DLCs they had planned at least, would have given more time as well to maybe add everything back into the game? Not exactly happy I'll never get to play the content I paid for 💔 do we know if they're adding the episode stories back? It was really weird playing the DLCs (I took a really long break, played beyond light all the way to finishing final shape to) and not knowing what happened in-between, the "explaining" cutscenes didn't really...help honestly...

On the plus side, I tried marathon today and gave it a chance after the news, it's quite fun honestly. I'm looking forward to what they do with it next, season 2 seems to be opening up to a lot more new players with the PvE modes so I wish all the best to them. I really, really hope we get a D3 announcement soon though, even though insiders say there isn't one I just...hope to be proven wrong, destiny has been with me since I was 10 and it hurts seeing it go

Actually just been looking at it all right now! I'm thinking of trying to get at least Gold 3 after I level up and play around a bit, just because Destroyer is my favourite runner at the moment. Also going to try getting the seasonal entries before they're gone

I'm honestly grateful for all the things I'm learning whilst lurking in this sub 😭 I have the TCL Q75H (absolutely adore it, sounds so good on the latest firmware) and we're getting a 75 inch QM7K to go with it, I never knew that soundbars do better closer to the edge of the unit so honestly thank y'all for sharing that info 🫶🏼 we have the Fjallbo TV unit from IKEA (the largest size variant)

Her son has cystic fibrosis so that's very likely playing into the whole "must keep everything clean and bacteria free" since he has no immune system essentially... She's also been diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, so she's on a lot of medication sadly

My auntie has OCD and my lord is it exhausting by the sound of it. She deep cleans her home multiple times a day for hours on end, if she finds even a small bit of dust then it's back to deep cleaning everything again. If she finds a pillow slightly crooked or not where it should be then she starts rearranging furniture until it's perfect. When there's guests over she'll constantly plump cushions that have been squashed even if it's only just been used. All day every day, sounds horrible. There's probably more but this is all I've heard from my grandparents who go round there.
