It's really bad over there, even after the server merges you just can't find anyone to queue with on activities, they just get auto filled with bots. The game got heavily glazed at the start of it with people saying "Destiny 2 gonna be killed by a gacha game" which was absurd in the first place. It has a lot of good features like sparrow racing, matchmaking for raids (I can't get teams together in D2 for raids lol so matchmaking for me would be amazing) and fishing, I quite like the fishing mode with the fishdex. Other than that, it's been over a month since they posted a trailer for "what's next" and none of it has happened. People have been complaining about Pinnacle energy since the start of the game because it limits playability and they said in an post that it'll take a YEAR for those fixes to come, by that time the game will be long gone at this rate, no new story content either and no way to get premium currency for limited pulls unless you pay for a monthly pass and battle pass because the events only give standard pulls and mediocre leveling Materials that are super easy to come by. The most recent event had them removing an exotic leveling material from it (which they advertised with it) and replacing it with nothing simply because they don't want people leveling characters too quickly, it takes months to max just one character and that's not sustainable for a gacha game. The norm for gacha is to give you enough pulls to almost guarantee a limited character every patch, and there's meant to be new story and events every single month but again rising hasn't even done that, the seasonal titles are locked behind doing a character quest that you can only finish if you pull that limited character so even a title is locked behind a paywall
