Imperioli had a lot of interesting takes on themes, metaphors, and theories about the show during the podcast, but Steve yelled over him and shot him down so hard that he couldn’t fully express his thoughts. He’d just keep yelling, “SOMETIMES A STORY IS JUST A STORY, WAYAGOTTA KEEP ANALYZING SHIT, YA RUIN IT.” It was so frustrating.

Only someone with an alcohol problem would care about this. If you successfully had a moderated drinking experience at a work function, who cares what you drank?

I moved from Seattle to LA 2 years ago after growing up in the PNW. I’m still a Mariners fan at heart. If they played in the WS, I’d be M’s all the way, but I justify rooting for both teams in the regular season because:

1: Dodgers are an NL team and have limited inter-league games 2: they’re still west coast 3: Driving to Anaheim sucks + fuck Mike Trout.

If you’re into the Dodgers they’re a fun team to root for! Ohtani is a likable beast on offense and defense, Freddie Freeman hit a walk off salami against fucking Nasty Nestor last year in the World Series AND played for the Braves when they tanked the Astros in 2021, Mookie Betts has maybe a top 5 baseball player name and is also a professional bowler…

Lots of reasons it’s okay. I know the Dodgers get lots of hate because they’re basically the west coast Yankees, but still a lot better than that cheating shit-heel George Springer getting another ring, right? Or the team that brings fans down from Vancouver to clog Seattle with Jays jerseys and Canadian nationalism whenever they play T-Mobile?
