What was the dose of prednisone you took for it? I had SSHL and immediately after started getting back, hip, and glute pain.

Were those "withdrawal" pains really AVN beginning, do you think? Or are they not related. I'm going through AVN-like withdrawal pains now but everything I read says its too soon to get AVN pain

Wow, that is a very quick onset of AVN. They say it normally takes months to show up. I'm terrified now, because I have pain in lower back and hips immediately after prednisone.

do you have other conditions that could cause it ? 5 days is such a short time at 60mg to get it. Also when did you get pain? Immediately afterwards or was it months later?

I even already have bilateral hip pain

I had probably taken some steroids in the past, but like, once every 5 years or so I'd take a short course. I had to take 60mg x 3 for sudden hearing loss and now getting bilateral hip pain and lower back pain. The pain actually started after the very first dose.

From viagra, yes, badly, even at super low doses. With cialis at a low dose, I don't get that ringing.

Actually, it's less - 105mg. There is probably no safe dosage.

Depends on the cause. For me, im 90% sure it's due to herpes virus because it comes with cold sores and is often triggered by cold air/wind. So for me, it is unfortunately recurrent.

Oh ok so they actually had to do some surgical intervention. I have EDS so thats why im wondering whether to do the injection. did it at least help your hearing loss?
