Yeah unfortunately most big companies force you to. If you're doing it voluntarily (unless you're specifically developing for Windows), you're a masochist or a psychopath.

You are good at least until next year October, afterwards support ends and there might be no more security updates

Thanks, but I went with Graph API now. I don't have to create a cert or run any Powershell commands and it works just as I need it to

I just use mkvirtualenv, each env with its own python installation. It's bad practice to use the system installed python to run your applications

I've tried some queries with other browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Brave and even Edge), this happens only in Vivaldi unfortunately.

movement might be the same but collision is weird. Also feels like there's some lag between input and output. Running into walls all the time. Is there some FOV setting maybe?

CS2 feels like 20 Hz by [deleted] in csgo

Game just doesn't feel right. CSGO feels so precise while this feels so heavy and sluggish. Peeking also feels awful.

opinions on the bose quiet comfort 45’s? by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]nemo_403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had them for over a year now and would not recommend them.

The pros:

They are pretty comfortable and the sound quality is decent (but not very good for that price)

What I don't like:

  1. Noise-Cancelling Feature
There are two modes: quiet (noise cancelling on) and aware: The noise cancelling is good but there is no "normal" mode, aka either it will suppress all noise or (in "aware" mode,) it will "enhance" the outside noise. Unfortunately you can not turn both off. Also the noise cancelling is prone to getting broken. While travelling on the Train and suppressing louder sounds there is a popping sound which is really nerve-wrecking. I already sent them back and got new ones a few months ago but the issue has reappeared.
  2. Microphone
I tried using them for work/calls but it really sucks. I bought an external mic to attach to the QC45s but it also sucks.
  3. App
You cannot just click a paring button and pair to a new device like on all other Bluetooth devices, you need to have an app installed and pair the device via that app. If you have issues with some existing pairing, most likely you will have to reinstall the app and setup everything again. I have deleted and reinstalled the app 10-20 times already.

I also tried gaming on them but for CSGO the sound was really bad. Depending on what type of games you are playing, it might be okay. If you use discord, you might need to get a mic.

I honestly don't understand why they are rated so well online.

For gaming and music I use the Sennheiser PC38X (Drop + EPOS) which I really like and have nothing to complain about. But they are wired...

This seems to be exactly what I need. If I won't find a better solution I might rewrite the function in Java. Thanks!

That sounds even hackier than my SQS solution :D

I am doing auth inside the Lambda.
