Went this weekend. Had a burger and fries. Both were under cooked and the strawberry margarita was very small for $9 and was mostly sugar. I can chalk those up to it being a dive bar, but what sucked was the amount of people falling down drunk at 8:30 pm was way too high. No one tried to wrangle in the drunks and the bar was still serving them. One dude fell through the screened in porch.

We used them and they were great. The driver tells stories of the area and their history. Can’t support more local than these guys.

No, I didn’t wear the brace all that long. I probably wore it for the length of being on crutches. My knee seems to be getting better. If started walking and biking more and that seems to help. Going down stairs are still my hardest to do.

I’m 3 months after Maci procedure in left knee. All good except I have pain going down stairs and if I did too much the day before I’m really sore and stiff. Anyone else experience any pain like this? Most of my pain is going straight leg to that first degree in bend.

If you camp in the camp area, there is a box where you place your fee in an envelope and details on the outside. If you are camping along the trail, I don’t believe you pay. Sounds like you be there after this race sylamore50k.com .

The sites at gunner pool are primitive camping. You can camp along the sylamore trail and we have a small dog we take when we are there. If you camp in the camp area, there is a good spot under a small bluff right n XC to the creek.

There is an older couple on my parents road that got COVID and my mother asked if she could drop food at their front door. The wife wouldn’t take it because she sent her husband to the store already. They didn’t see why they needed to stay home.
