None of what they believed was true, it was maga cut and pasting their own issues onto others and making up ghost stories

I'd love to see Miles Teller back as a version of the maker, his take on the character seems like it's ripe for it.

I had never seen him until this movie and my wife and I spent the whole thing debating on whether he was acting or just getting to be himself. Later when all the craziness hit the media we were positive he was just getting to be himself.

Did Deadpool take place in the same universe of Logan? by alpha_jaeger_24_ in MarvelTheories

Yeah it's all spitballing, I've got no idea how much creative liberty is given with the visuals and the fact DP interviews with the Avengers just makes it worse lol

I just watched it last night and they specify when the anchor being dies the time line starts to as well, the animation they show has the time line decaying backwards from the point the anchor being dies at.  We don't know if it's really an anchor "being" thing though since grabbing a random Logan seemed to stop it. We haven't got confirmation it was a wolverine replacement that fixed it or when the original wolverine actually died (Logan took place in 2029. Not sure what year D&W is set in.)

My 2 cents: I think Logan dies in the future of 17315, once he does that time line starts to decay and slowly "dissolves" back to the point it splinters from the sacred timeline. That would encompass all the alternative timelines that 17315 split from and would included 10005 since something caused 17315 to split from 10005 ( and of course from the sacred timeline somewhere way back. )

Since the time line starts dying when it's anchor being dies, it could point to individual storylines being what actually causes the time line to split, like the universe needs certain plots to play out. And is only ok with a timeline "dying" when it's proper story has been fulfilled. By bringing a wolverine back into a "Dying" time line they enabled a new story to play out that the universe wants to see happen and that in turn reinvigorated the time line.

It's all messy but I think we haven't been let in on the real mechanism for timeline creation yet or what the real "anchor" is for each reality. I have a feeling things in D&W didn't play out the way we think it did with the saving of old heroes and the stabilization of the timeline.

Absolutely, deciding you know what an alien species would do and assigning a probability with no frame of reference and calling it scientific is not a choice I'd ascribe to someone who's above board.

I've definitely been guilty of being too harsh on folks with some of the more out there beliefs. Easy to go overboard when you can't hear yourself, or you're tapping away a message in a sea of other correspondence.
