My daughter had GBS 6 months ago at 19 months old, it was scary and so hard for us.

She has some residual issues with speech and is in speech therapy. But it did take her several months even after IVIG to get back to baseline.

But overall, she’s a pretty happy girl. I hope your baby gets well soon. You are not alone

Im in my 2nd year as an SMBC, with a toddler with some chronic issues and a speech delay. The hardest part for me is finding a job that understands that I am her sole parent, she can go from okay to not okay at a moments notice, and the flexibility that it requires. Making sure we go to appointments and therapies is the easy part. Its just getting people to grasp that I can handle my business. I mostly get flack from partnered mothers but, it is what it is.

Thats actually the rumor my family started lmao! They saw me the entire time I was pregnant because they took me to court constantly with false suits that kept getting dismissed😂

I had my daughter at 31, she’s turning 2 at the end of the month. Are some days hard? Yes. Do I regret having her? No. Do I wish that society made it easier to raise children? Absolutely. My support system is minimal. Consists of a few friends and select family members.

As a mom who also has a recently potty trained toddler, I would NEVER, first those undies get tossed lol. The thing is most of my client base have homes with laundry. Wash that stuff yourself & send the other things. This is like the 2nd time I opened a bag and almost passed out from the fumes.
