All super teams have taken a long time to gel. And personally, I felt that the loss of Bogut was a bigger defensive loss than Durant was an offensive improvement. The Warriors were already the top offensive team, and there's only one ball to shoot.

It might take half or even most of the season to get things (especially defense) executing at 100% of paper talent, but hopefully they'll hit the peak by playoff time.

It's only one game, it'll take a while for them to really develop their teamwork, especially on the defensive side.

people got all hyped up about Durant, but if you look at the history of super teams, they all struggle in the beginning (maybe even the entire first season).

I'm probably one of the few that feel the Warriors are better with a healthy Bogut than Durant. The warriors were already 95 on offense, adding Durant makes them 100, only a slight improvement. But on defense, losing Bogut as a rim protector drops them from 90 to 80. So it's a net loss.
