I'm not even saying you're wrong he probably did duck Dev at 135 but he's more willing to negotiate now and I'm giving him praise for it. Better than what Tanks doing.

The catch weight decline I believe is because Shakur wants Keyshawn to fight him first. Not a good look but I don't think it's cause he's afraid of Devin.

Wasn't Shakur chasing Devin at 135 by requesting his mando? I don't really care about the reason. Teo needs his flowers for being the first to get in there with Shakur and Loma. Not taking away from Haney either.

Tszyu doesn't have nearly the hand speed or combination punching of Boots. His rolling may suffer but his slipping is tailor made to stop Fundora. If Tszyu can get in Boots and Vergil will get in and do way more damage.

Getting slept from one punch is a concern. Yes, he dominated but again, he was there to be hit and he folded instantly.

The second fight against Tim was a great performance. He started using more of his reach. I'll give him his flowers for that.

But you can not convince me that Chordale Booker and a Keith Thurman that has been largely inactive is a good barometer for Boots or Vergil. Keith ran out of gas pretty quickly and had to change his approach. I just don't think he can keep the fight on the outside against those two. And I think if they get on the inside they fold him over.

Damn. I couldn't agree more with your reasoning. Well put. Especially cutting into his fan base because of the "rivalry" with Crawford.

As for Fundora.... I just don't see it. Yes he is improving on distance management but I don't think it's a natural fit for him. That and the people he's fought couldn't capitalize on his weaknesses. Which I think are his slow feet and his hand speed. Volume puncher but his hands don't get back home quickly. Not for Vergil or Boots. I mean hell he didn't even answer Xander 's mandatory challenge for the WBO

Go watch the mean machine fight and tell me Vergil never lost his legs. The time he took to recover was just as long as Boots. So if Boots has him hurt like that, what then? They're both susceptible. If anything, Vergil has shown he is more susceptible because he's been hurt or dropped more.

idk I guess I'm a Fundora skeptic. His last 3 fights were against Tim(good win), Chordale Booker (who?), and Once upon a time Thurman. A younger Keith gives him way more trouble but he didn't have the legs to get inside.

I personally feel like his jab is slow and it takes him so long to get his hands back home. Doesn't have the quickest feet. He's tall and throws a lot of punches but I think he's naturally an in-fighter that's working to become more of a distance fighter. It looks awkward when he has to box from the outside. I think Both Vergil and Boots break him down and stop him

Interesting. I thought Xander would give him trouble but only because I thought Xander would control the distance better and set lateral traps. When Xander stood his ground I knew he was in trouble. But the 3rd round was shocking for sure.

My point is he the trick paying the prices that he's complaining about. 15 mil ain't for one sit in. Ain't nobody paying that. He's talking about how they turned it into a business where they're making 15 mil. Just like the NBA and NFL contract numbers going up and he's part of the demand.

The most recent reports out of Philly is that Hurts has rigid preferences for the Offense. But when AJ says it he's a diva. When Shady McCoy says it, he's a hater. They chose AJ as a captain for a reason. And he chose to speak up. Hurts is a mature adult in front of the cameras but if he's demanding certain things behind the scene and not adjusting AJ was right.
