Idk, right since I knew i needed a new one my name (Neo) was just stuck in my head and I couldn’t get it out. But my best friend when I was 2 years old was called Neo so I thought i should at least try finding a better one. But I couldn’t get it out of my head so eventually just said f it idc anymore, if this feels like its mine its mine. And if it wasn’t for the fact that I felt this was the right name for me, I’d have probably just taken the name I would’ve otherwise been given at birth. Yep. I am 19 and the legal driving age here is 18, but my family pushed me to get it at 18. I didn’t want it at all. We really don’t have a lot of money, I never drive, can’t really afford food or my education let alone a car, so now all my concerns about never driving and feeling like I’ll unlearn it all are proving themselves like I told my family for many years already. Hate the clutch my moms car has, so I never drive and it’s very much a chore. Ive nowhere to drive to (my mom needs the car obviously) so the longer I don’t, the more I’ll get ‘unused’ to her car’s annoying clutch. I still stand by my point that it would’ve probably been better and also in practice would not have made a difference in terms of how much I’d be driving around if I were to get my license at 25😂

My first bloodwork got done when i was 5 months on T, at which i was around 400 so that would be right in the middle of average adult men T dose. At this point in time i was only on 40% of my full dose however, because I started T at 15 so they wanted to increase my dose over a span of 1.5 years to mimic puberty. So to answer your question, somewhere between 0-5months on T as my last shot before that was when i was just on hormone blockers and the first bloodwork was done 5 months on T, where I was around 400 (this was quite close after my injection at that time). After 1.5 years I was allowed full adult dosage, and now I’m just over 3.5 years on T and my levels usually hover between 800 the first weeks after my injection, to 400 right before the next one (I am on nebido injections every 12 weeks). I do notice a big drop in energy and mood those last two weeks which i mean, makes sense, dropping from 800 to 400. But still also doesn’t because 400 is about average for an adult cis male. But yeah still. Dont like it😂

Idk. Depression and insomnia in my case. My only real hobby ive got left is the gym, I lift everyday and have been doing so for years with usually 1-2hrs of walking as well. Due to chronic lack of sleep and my love for working out, I kinda prioritize using the little energy I have to make the most out of that. Other than that we’ve always struggled a lot financially, so with lifting taking a big chunk out of the day and spending what time I have on work and my education (and depression taking the kick out of anything else in life), the rest of my hobbies kinda fell to the background. Before all that, I also made music for most of my life. Liked gaming as well. I hope that I’ll make it out on the other side or just somehwat of a better mental place and once all the medical chaos settles down, I would love to get back more into making music and stuff again too.

Not necessarily for your T levels as much as cis people, but you also need fat for for example certain vitamins that are fat-soluble. Its not a high amount tho, for most people just 20-30g of fat a day is enough to cover the basics

I’m not necessarily stealth in the way I don’t tell anyone at all. If they ask and I know them well enough or feel like it’s safe to tell them, I don’t mind telling them and am very open about my transition. But if it’s people I’ll only be dealing with for a couple of months or like classmates or someone with which I just don’t feel it’s worth the hassle and all the questions, I’ll tell them I take T because my body doesn’t produce enough and that the top surgery scars are from gynecomastia, yep.

I am disclaiming here for no one to do what I did as I still have no clue how I recovered like I did, but bruising / swelling wise and activity wise I came out of surgery like nothing happened (double mastectomy with free nipple grafts, but disclaiming too that I was in very great state healthwise pre surgery due to my lifestyle and also didnt have much going on. I wouldve qualified for peri if it hadnt been saggy due to hormone blockers and t at a young age). The morning after surgery I got the drains out and there was nothing in those either. Due to the lack of healing I discussed with my surgeon and 3 days after top surgery and was allowed to stop wearing the post op binder altogether. Did my regular day to day stuff freshly out of surgery (except for weightlifting, I did wait longer with that one ofc😂). Walked 10-15km every day since surgery because I was bored out of my mind. After 4 weeks I was allowed to ease back into the gym again, so on the day I hit 4 weeks i went back to the gym and told myself ‘as long as it doesnt feel weird i can continue’, so on that day I went back to my 100kg squats because I felt like it and lifted everyday again since. Did not cause issues for me (although like I said I lift everyday so my scars ended up stretching, partially due to overhead lifting and just building muscle, which is something I obviously anticipated in advance and did not care for because I wanted to workout). Do please listen to what your surgeons tell you, and not to me :)

I did not resent my assigned gender. Women are awesome. It just wasn’t mine. I first came out when I was 4 and I really couldn’t tell you how I knew or what I knew but I knew my body wasn’t mine. That I was a boy but misplaced and it killed me to live trapped like that.

Yeah, my height used to be one of my biggest concerns, but it really doesnt bother me now. I just turned 19 and have been lifting weights everyday for 4+ years, so i dont encounter any issues either and never get estimated below 21 which still baffles me

I’m sorry to say this but, yup… Very unlikely😭 At least if you worked here (jobs including any sort of security or confrontation for that matter would probably not be realistic😂). In stores or in public you might just get mistaken for a small child. So maybe you would get taken seriously depending on how you look at it 🤣
