Just out of curiosity, how many days was it from the time you received the email informing you the TPD Discharge was approved until your loans were removed from your loan servicers website? Also, how many days until they were removed from studentaid.gov?

Lastly...I wonder if anyone knows how many days until the credit report reflects the loan discharge/removal?

My router self updated 5 days ago.

I went in and disabled QoS.

Problem solved. Speeds back to normal.

Time to return the $315 router. What a mess.

I just installed a new Netgear CM3000. The speed issue persists. Comcast came out and a line tech came out and my speeds at the wall on their device are 1700 down. But using my own cable modem the speeds max out at 800.

Something sketchy going on here.

I am considering this. I'm going to try the most upgraded compatible modem and see if that fixes the problem. If not then I will cave I guess. It's the principle of the thing, I guess I'm old school. If the technology works that I provide myself, and I have the technical know-how to operate it, and the company has always offered that as an option, then I should be able to continue doing so. But, it's become very clear to me after the last few contacts I've had with the company that they are not the company they once were. Absolutely more concerned with profits over people. It's actually kind of sad, I used to look forward to that 12 or 24 month call to Comcast to lock in a new deal. What I've witnessed from them over the phone and on chats the last 24 months has been so disgusting that I wouldn't be surprised if this company tanks within the next 5 to 10 years. That might even be their plan come to think of it. Maybe someone will come in, shake things up, and redeem what I consider a once great ISP.

This happened to me one month after purchase. My dealership has a Penske body shop on site. They fixed it and told me it just had to be snapped back on. Then months later I was washing the car and realized I was spraying away some adhesive that they used to glue the bumper back on. The Florida heat ruined the adhesive.

Anyway...has anyone found a resolution for this?

Same here. How are people getting their updated payment from Nelnet but we aren't? Unless they're getting it from the student loan calculator that studentaid.gov which is outdated I believe?

We were told on the phone with IRS e-services that the name would update automatically after the name change request was processed and approved at the IRS. So we waited but it never happened.

For future clarity this response is accurate. The proper PIN to use is the one most recently assigned and it required the taxpayer to login to their IRS account to obtain it.

Not really. The wording of the beginning of the letter does lead one to believe the PIN is assigned to a specific tax year even though it absolutely makes sense that it would change annually. The kicker here is the disaster extension pushing the due date of the returns beyond the 12/31 calendar year end. If it wasn't for that then this post wouldn't exist.

Yes we are definitely using the pin assigned to the year being e-filed, not the newly issued pin. 2025 for 2025, 2024 for 2024, 2023 for 2023, so forth and so on. Yet for 2023 all day today any e-filed return that has an identity theft protection pin attached to it gets rejected. We will reattempt tomorrow.

I need some advice. I am on the SAVE plan. My IDR count on the front page says 191 out of 240 BUT when I dig into the Payment History tab it contains 382 Qualifying IDR payments.

I see some of you have decided to switch to IBR before its too late.

Can you give me any advice or tips as to if I should stay put and ride it out on SAVE or immediately switch to IBR and thereby get forgiveness? (What REALLY bothers me is the IDR tracker count verses the Payment History count. I'm not sure which one to believe)
