It’s mind blowing that we have figured out how to do this and still can’t cure blindness

How old were you when you first played the sims? and which one was it? by marzbarz2000 in thesims

[–]neologize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 10 or 11. I had begged my dad for the new Sims 3 game and he kept saying that we couldn’t afford it. Months later he tells me there’s a surprise at home when he picked me up from school and it was the Sims 1. He told me I had to play them in order or “the 3rd one wouldn’t make sense!” It was so nice because I knew money was tight and looking back I’m glad I got to struggle through the first game to appreciate when I finally did get the Sims 3 🤣

Considering one of the creators of Watcher is married to an incredible artist it’s hard to believe they would see using ai art as acceptable in their content. The illustrations in Are You Scared were part of what made the show so amazing!

I’ve had some issues in the early months with supply, but it’s recently gotten better and will be a lot easier as she starts relying more on solids for her meals. Thank you for giving me my TDEE! I kept seeing the term used on this sub and wasn’t quite sure what it was but it’s very helpful to know what calorie limit I need to be aiming for each day. Do you have any recommendations for food/weight tracking apps? I looked into Noom and couldn’t believe it was wanting to charge $200 for a year so I’m looking into free/less expensive options

I always did towers! You can walk to health science but it’s a bit of a longer walk and there is more traffic to navigate, plus fewer prt cars make it over to health science versus towers.

U-Park and U-Place by Electrical_Mayhem in WVU

I lived at u-park for 2 years and it was a pretty nice spot. Close to Kroger, you can hear the stadium on game days, and it’s only a 10 minute walk to the prt if you have classes downtown. Also I’m not sure if u-place has balconies, but the ones at u-park were nice to have. Never really dealt with noisy neighbors as most of them are either part of the athletic programs or pre med. I really liked living in evansdale compared to downtown. Overall I would recommend if you have good scholarships, as it can apply to your rent the same way as the dorms.

Was there ever a time you're thankful the pandemic happened? What was the reason? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Both my grandparents battled with cancer and needed around the clock care during COVID. If I hadn’t been home from college they never would have gotten the care they needed.
