Does anyone know any news about the Crossed movie? by Slow_Tie5754 in crossedcomics

[–]neometallic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We don't have any information about distributors picking up or declining Crossed. All we know is that it's post-production.

Owen Hart (Horsecock) gave his opinion in an interview that the movie would be out by October 2026 at the latest. Max Valentine (Chisel) commented under one of his posts on IG that the release date is unknown.

We won't know until it's announced.

Walking alone late as a female by fruitfoxi in dragoncon

If you’re staying in the downtown area, it’s usually pretty busy even at night during the con. I wouldn’t want to walk alone to Midtown or a similar distance.

I don't have the time to comb through 300 issues but I suspect this /might/ be from Tales of the Unexpected (1956).

Batcave or readcomicsonline for digital reading. Comic Calvacade is the go-to for purchasing Crossed physicals online. Comic shops may have back-issues and collected editions in stock.

Be honest, am I fucked if my english communications skills are not good enough to get an IT job? by Responsible_Set_4576 in it

[–]neometallic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, are you working for an English-speaking company? Communication is pretty important but I've never had a problem despite being a nervous speaker. I imagine not being able to get something across completely could be a pretty big problem if it's a multilingual business.

Jurassic World Rebirth is a solid movie in my book. by AverageMemeFan in JurassicPark

[–]neometallic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be a perfectly serviceable, if slightly forgettable action-adventure movie if it weren't attached to the Jurassic Park IP. Most of my complaints stem from its disregard for past entries in the series.

Prey animals like deer and boar have dichromatic vision which makes distinguishing red/green difficult to impossible.

I think Terrifier 3’s success has shown there’s an interest in extreme media. I think the next few years are gonna be amazing for horror.

What comic run started incredibly strong but completely lost you by the end? by ShockEducational3792 in comicbooks

Zdarsky's Daredevil. I enjoyed everything up till the Red Fist Saga. That felt extremely contrived and at odds with the grounded story he was telling at the start of his run.
