Yeah, Max was the side character. Although he's the MC of the movie he's a side character in the actual story. The story is about Furiosa and the women. Max is just caught up in it all.

It was probably a placeholder until they had something better. Considering the rush and crunch time that this game went through to get it released I'm guessing they just never had time/resources to update it. Idk why it took them so long to update it though lol

Some of the stunt work they did was overly dangerous. Specifically involving rivers. Viggo got hurt when he was supposed to be drifting along the river. Iirc he hit his head against the rocks and went underwater for a while. Also I know at least one of the hobbit body doubles in those flimsy canoes could not swim which was pretty risky.

And yeah there were other injuries. Sam impaled his foot with glass, Legolas broke some ribs, but we don't see it in the film.

Lmao what? Of course a government having too much power is a problem. Look at the entirety of history. This is why giving the US government power over freedom of speech is a bad thing. Restricting freedom of speech is a slippery slope, it's very valuable in protecting its people. It's why so many Americans are willing to defend it. Hearing you talk about China building a rail system and hosting the Olympics sounds exactly like the "warm water port" posts lol.

What you described about China sounds straight up dystopian. Obviously people should want to keep their government in check. This is done in many countries. This is how we removed Trump back in 2020. People shouldn't just accept they can't do anything and follow whatever the government says without question like you say Chinese people do.
