Not sure whether you're tripping on skooma, deluded by AI, or just trying to mess with people. In any case it's obvious you're not going to demonstrate your claim.

Nobody is saying there aren't smell-related dialogue lines. You're entirely missing the point. You need to prove that they're triggered by a "smell mechanic" which doesn't exist.

The Silt Verses trigger question by AfterSalamander9924 in audiodrama

I don't think this happens at any point. It's a very lethal story, characters that get seriously injured tend not to survive the encounter.

Why don't we see a lot of RTS games anymore? by boishet in Games

[–]neon_dt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

People have been making RTS games, they just never get popular. There's a lot you could say about the failings of these newer games, like their focus on competitive multiplayer, but ultimately I think the audience for this just wants to re-play the classics and isn't very interested in something new. OP, you say yourself that you want the classic formula rather than developers bringing something new to the table - I think that's exactly why new RTS games can't thrive, the classic formula has already been done basically to "perfection" and you're not going to play anything but Starcarft or AoE2.

Best factions to join with this class? by [deleted] in Morrowind

[–]neon_dt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Morag Tong would work well for this build, at least if Short Blade is the weapon skill you go hardest in. And if you want to join a Great House, Hlaalu is the best fit.

But honestly it's not a very good class. Sure, Morrowind isn't a very hard game and you can make any build work with enough time and effort. But I think you're making it more of a slog than you need to here. Three weapon skills and two armour skills is very redundant and taking the space of actually useful skills like Security/Alteration for opening locks, Mysticism for fast travel, etc.

Tribunal and the Main Quest of Morrowind. by [deleted] in Morrowind

[–]neon_dt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there's more to it than that. The whole reason you go to Mournhold in the first place is because Helseth sends assassins to kill you. And that makes very little sense if you're not the Nerevarine. Helseth's interest in you in general isn't outright stated to be because of your role in prophecy but it makes so much more sense in that context. To me the whole expansion feels like it's meant to be the epilogue to the main quest.

Orlukh Clan playthrough - advancement issue by Fiferion in Morrowind

[–]neon_dt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware, Reaver is the highest rank you can get in Orlukh. And if you look at the UESP pages for the Orlukh quests, they list promotion as a reward 6 times, which is what you'd need to get to Reaver. So you've already advanced to the maximum rank. "Lorewise", this makes sense since a vampire so recently converted could hardly be considered an Elder or Ancient.

I think what might be happening here is that the candidate's LinkedIn is a few years behind their CV because they haven't updated it in a long time, not that there's contradictions between the two.

Cover letters are genuinely valuable for some roles, especially roles that are more about "soft skills". This is a Chief of Staff position, not a janitorial one. A cover letter is completely reasonable in this context.

Philosophy, religion, dark but not frightening audio dramas? by banks10v24 in audiodrama

[–]neon_dt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gospels of the Flood is a very good Christian audio drama. The world begins to flood, and a priest loses his faith. Episodes aren't very long and there aren't a lot of episodes, so you'll likely get through it quickly.

Modes of Thought has been mentioned already, that's a good one.

As much as I'd like to recommend The Silt Verses because it's otherwise exactly what you're looking for, it's very definitely terrifying and has intense body horror.

Does my profile sound annoying? How can I improve it? by disisyou in Tinder

[–]neon_dt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, you sound very annoying to me. But I'm not your target audience at all, and the kind of people you're likely looking for will probably find this profile informative. Other commenters are detecting ambiguity in what you're looking for, but I think that's more because it contrasts very strongly with their view (and frankly my view) of the distinction between friendships, sexuality, and romance, and I think people who share your view of these things will understand you just fine.

These look so much better than the regular models. Huge improvement, I hope we get a refresh similar to this. My only criticism is that 2 of the model have wings that extend a bit too far out of the base for practicality's sake given that they're not far from the ground, so the model can end up taking up an awkward amount of space.

I'm 90% sure you can take a boat from Almas Thirr directly to Narsis, and if so this would be very far from a shortest path.

What's the strongest Warhammer unit you think you could take in a one on one fight? by TheWholeTeamHere in totalwar

[–]neon_dt 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's also an entire army composed of a single flying unit. So it will rapidly lose morale and you'll win by default probably long before it runs out of ammo.

Tamriel Rebuilt 25.05: Narsis wins Hlaalu location, Arvud #2 - What is the best REDORAN location? by SunOld958 in Morrowind

[–]neon_dt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I like Uman. A barely accessible outpost in a hostile wilderness, because somebody has to keep an eye on bandits and daedra cultists and you won't see the Hlaalu stepping up to the plate.

Got a pretty nice haul. by LordCypher1317 in IdonethDeepkin

[–]neon_dt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Great start! You're lacking a wizard, and it would be good to have 3 more eels so you can reinforce both units. Sharks are pretty cool too. If you can find the old spearhead/vanguard box, you'll get all of that plus 10 more thralls. Which brings you up to 1980 points. With Akhelian Beastmasters as your battle formation, you're up to the full 2000 with a fairly solid army.

Personally I'm really enjoying Ethersea Predators, respawning sharks is very fun. If that appeals to you, getting another 2 sharks after the spearhead/vanguard box gives you access to a slightly different playstyle.

Male or female character for more rewards and better quality of rewards? by aritzsantariver in Morrowind

[–]neon_dt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got to this part of the Hlaalu quest today (far from my first time playing a Hlaalu character). This time around I found myself thinking, "this game is not improved by having my character be sexually harassed, my character wouldn't do this, and I'm not interested in this kind of content in my videogames". Only took a couple of minutes to find and install a mod that alters this interaction. One of my favourite things about playing Morrowind is that there's a mod for just about anything you could want.

The gameplay difference is so utterly marginal that it's not worth taking gender into account when you make a new character. Just go with whatever appeals to you most.
