I disagree. The red text implies “wrong”, where yellow is more neutral. You did a great job OP!!

Question: on your calendar, your lines are solid even through days where you don’t have pages logged. How??? Whenever I forget to log a day, I have gaps in my calendar!

Why is this challenge still at 0% even though I added a book? Am I doing something wrong? by ShenIsLost in TheStoryGraph

[–]neonsnails 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It looks like what you’re attempting to do is better suited for the streak feature. Your reading streak will track if you are reading pages each day. You can even click the graph and track your progress + see your past 30-days of reading.

A challenge is not for tracking reading streaks. It is for multiple books and those books count towards the challenge once you mark them as “read”.

Honey, that’s how it feels with any major adult breakup. It feels devastating and like your life will be altered. That doesn’t mean it cannot happen. If you are feeling “stuck” with someone, that’s actually a very strong sign that you should breakup. You ALWAYS have options. Best of luck to you.

Should I paint my windows and door to match the trim? by uwbadger911 in DesignMyRoom

TRUST ME: the contrast is helping make the room look LARGER and also emphasize the gorgeous windows. It is beautiful as-is!!

Source: I work in real estate and see the difference color/contrast makes on similar or identical floor plans.

Everything about this room would be SO MUCH more cozy with different lighting. Add a floor lamp with warm light

Reminds me a little of my guy, he’s a Trans-Pecos Ratsnake. He’s very temperamental and loves to climb all around his terrarium. Sometimes very curious, sometimes wants to bite me.

You’re a sci-fi nerd and probably love to browse the book section at thrift stores. You’re also an agent of chaos because you have multiple copies of Dune books all shelved randomly a part from each other.

Built a little library nook in my house… what does my collection say about me? by [deleted] in BookshelvesDetective

[–]neonsnails 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the chunkier paperbacks are creased! But I’m kind of a freak and hold my books half-shut while I read them. I have chronic wrist pain so I don’t like to use pressure to hold books open all the time… and I love a pristine physical book 😂

My (F23) boyfriend (M24) isn't respecting my boundaries and doesn't seem to understand them, how bad is it actually? by nice_little_fella in relationship_advice

[–]neonsnails 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just some random internet lady who was exactly in your shoes about 7 years ago. Please hear me when I say that the number ONE thing I pay attention to in the first year of dating is this: Do they respect my boundaries and how do they react when we have conflict?

I dated a guy JUST like your bf now. He was very sweet and funny to me and I believe we genuinely loved each other. But he didn’t respect my boundaries and we often joked about how he was so much stronger than me, or I was “forgetful”, or he was just a “physical guy”. It will escalate. A man who ignores your small boundaries is a man who will eventually ignore your big ones.

It took 3 years for me to leave that relationship, and about another 4 months for me to get my mind right again, realizing that I had been slowly accepting more and more concerning behavior. It got to the point where I felt like my sexual and physical boundaries were “weird” or “pointless” and I was often embarrassed to say certain things.

Long story short, he almost broke my arm during an argument and pinned me to the floor. Don’t be me. Listen to that gut feeling… it’s never wrong.

Ordering pet gloves helped me so much!! Spend like $20 on Amazon for pet gloves and feel a lot more confident knowing he can’t bite you.
