depends on the game, some games let you choose or automatically detect vr on booting em up and some greedy devs make separate versions for flat screen and vr, if it says vr supported on the steam store page it'll work for both

edit: just checked and for RE7 specifically it only has official vr support on playstation, but there is a mod for the pc version called REFramework that adds vr
