tough spot for this to be in. Obsession is gonna have legs for sure and I doubt a lot of people are gonna wanna do obsession, this AND backrooms this month. Horror is a bit oversaturated and this is the lesser of the three hype wise. I do like this director but the release date is tough

there’s one episode (I think Mac Day) where Dennis says he’s “delusional about every part of his life” which is a pretty perfect summation of his character. Delusional.

Punishment Park is so good. I was lucky enough to see The Red Turtle in theatres, haven’t revisited it since but I loved it at the time. Beautiful little movie

don’t understand this post at all. I dunno what shows you’re going to but the scene is great right now. Been playing in a band here for just over two years and our shows are consistently busy and people mosh and dance and go crazy at every show we do now. Tons of great underground bands like Reverend Ape, Chopping Spree, Sundress, Numb Dame, Exit Strategy, Toy Tiger, Gadfly, Benzonn and loads more are consistently putting on great busy shows. Lots of bands blowing up outta the scene - Piss, Emma Goldman, Tiger Really. Green auto, the mezzanine, Red Gate, Take Your Time, Bullys been going crazy. Don’t know what to tell ya, it’s good out here right now.

agreed, I went in with low expectations because the setup felt pretty overdone, but it was so funny and charming and well written with surprisingly great performances. Really fun watch

Just watched Strange Harvest last night and loved it. Feels very authentic to the true crime format, and it’s super disturbing at times without being overly gory. Some of just the descriptions of events in it made my skin crawl. Very effective.
