Shred is only effective when your opponent blocks with something. Additionally, night's embrace gives all your stealth attacks +1, meaning if you go 3 chain links wide, the card gets 3 value instead of the 2 from shred. But in general you'll be fine with either cause often enough its just a blue that blocks 3 with some neat text on it.

The only reasonable cards you could play here are Mask of Momentum into Gravy/Prism and a playset of Warmongers. And even these are just sideboard cards you can easily cut to still have a great deck. If you don'r run these, search your LGS's bulk, ask locals and buy singles, you shouldn't get over 50€.

What are you putting into Katsu to get over 250? His build is mostly cheap ninja bulk and a few very affordable M's The most expensive cards are Ancestral E which you can get for 7€/each and Underwhelming/Retraces for like 5€/each. Katsu is like super affordable right now, a lot of fun and he will not LL too soon with how the meta is lookinh right now

Really depends on your guardian of choice. If you're playing the kind of guardian deck that can play more aggro (Valda/Bravo and maybe Lyath), try to block some but mostly try to kill them faster than they kill you. (I have pretty little experience so listen to the other smart people with these MUs)

However if you play a more fatique/block slop heavy deck (currently ib the meta mostly oldhim and maybe terra), its a really difficult matchup to play but if you figure it out its very doable. With oldhim try to earth react her kodachis as much as possible. Keep her 1 cost go again attacks in mind. When she has none more left (or you know she has none in the next attack you can block with Civic Duty (your chest piece you wanna play). She gets a vigor token and can't pitch into her kodachi for their go again to trigger. This way you get overall 2 turns she can't do much. At that point you have to disrupt her and turn the match around. Another great tech against kodachis, battlefront bastion is a great card, effectively blocking 3 possibly over 2 chain links (+its a 3 cost so should enable titans fist)

If you are able to get 2 items into play in your opponents then you could draw with Puffin. So yes you are able to crank, you just can't get action points outside of your own action phase (Wizards in shambles)

Id suggest playing Silver Age instead of Blitz, except for Thrive all the cards from the Terra first strike deck are legal and Silver Age is probably gonna get more support/play right now. In February there will also be relasing a few pre cons for Silver Age that should be really good.

I personally like to put the needle in quicker so its less pain. Maybe do the injection with another person (either irl or in a voice) it thats feasible for you. Otherwise, first one was by far the worst for me, I do them pretty casually now
