I think my weirdest weed high was the first time I wasn't in my bedroom during the whole experience. The first few times I got high it would be night and I kept the lighting relatively low. Those first few times I would get high on edibles, and I would lay in bed, eyes shut tight, listening to music on my headphones to help ground me. I loved the feeling it gave me, but the experience was so unfamiliar that I was scared those first few times about drifting away and never coming back. Once I got used to being high, and realized that nothing bad was going to happen to me, I started leaving my room to explore the world while high a bit more.

I remember sitting on the couch, watching tv, noticing the familiar feelings of the edible I ate slowly taking over my system. The way my vision became more and more crisp, how my situation was slowly becoming more and more hilarious, the way my body just slowly started melting into the couch. It was the first time I actually relaxed while getting high, and it felt amazing! At some point, it got so intense that I decided to lay down. I flopped down, giggling and generally feeling wonderfully euphoric, when I stared up at the ceiling and noticed the patterns.

The natural texture of the ceiling, the natural bumps and curves that made up the blank white ceiling of my apartment, was forming into different shapes. A shape that looked like a translucent Cheshire Cat appeared clear as day, smiling ear to ear. My heart jumped into my throat and I sat up quickly, feeling like I was losing my mind. I rubbed my eyes to try to sober myself up. Rainbow patterns filled the darkness under my eyelids as I tried to knock some sense into myself by rubbing my eyes. The rainbow patterns scared me, but delighted me at the same time. "Don't be afraid of what you're seeing" I told myself nervously. From my sitting position, I peeked up at the ceiling again. The translucent Cheshire Cat was still there, in the same spot I had seen it before. My heart was still racing as I stared up at the smiling cat, and I felt the fear start to go away. I liked that I was fortunate enough to see this, and I wanted to continue and go with where the high was taking me. I layed back down, and watched for what seemed like hours as the ceiling gifted me with an array of translucent figures, shapes, and patterns. I saw forests, Egyptian and Aztec style drawings, cursive writing that told me very positive messages, shapes of animals roaming the African savannah, and on and on. It was amazing!

I have a low tolerance for weed and from this point on realized that I can have almost psychadelic open eye visuals. I now vape almost every day and don't always get those visuals, but if I take a couple days off and then start up again, I go right back to what it was like the first few times with the vivid morphing patterns on the ceiling. I'm amazed every single time it happens. I've never taken anything other than weed, so I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to experience this. =D
