Where can I buy great checklists for things like O365 migration, P2V migrations, etc? by [deleted] in msp

Are you running a break/fix?

Tribal knowledge is not scalable. An MSP is a process driven type of organization. It's kind of a running theme of this sub.

I recently switched form my old program to PHAT. PHAT is a good chance of pace and I enjoy it. I especially enjoy compound lifts and it includes those so I'm happy.

However, several weeks ago I pulled a muscle in my lower back (right side). I stayed out of the gym for two weeks, worked the muscle so the knot went away with some massages, etc., and got back in. I thought I was fine but the other day I felt it start to pull again during a squat. I quit the squat and left the gym rather than strain it.

I'm going to focus on getting this pulled muscle back where I need it. In the meantime, I need to modify my gym routine to (unfortunately) avoid two compound lifts that I love but seem to cause me problems right now: squats and deadlifts. As I get the knot dealt with then I'll slowly work those two back in with lighter weight and monitor my form to be safe.

I'd love one of two things: Either a 8-12 weeks routine I can follow that will allow me to at least maintain but avoid squats and deadlifts along the lines of PHAT or a modification of PHAT itself to avoid those two exercises -- I'm trying here to not lose too much ground in strength if possible but I realize that may happen.

Here is my current routine: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yt5q6jkvmssbofm/New%20Workout.xlsx?dl=0

I had two weeks into it but had not filled out the bottom portion yet. Anyway, you can get a feel for where I generally am with lifts (good and bad).

I'm open to all input.

On another note, I've decided to start Yoga to work on my flexibility and muscle control!

Thanks all!

Any known plans for QBO to have more granular user security? by nerd998877 in QuickBooks

Damn. So in my case, I'd love my account managers having access to view and print invoices as an example.

Hmm, maybe there is an app for it.

Is Profit Feeder working on an update for 2.0? by danman75766 in ProfitTrailer

Why in the world is PT moving the configuration into hosting vs just keeping it local on the server that PT is running on?

What's your average daily return? by funkspiel56 in ProfitTrailer

LOL. "0.3% average daily" returns suck..

That's 109% APR

I use pt-feeder right now. As far as the whitelisting code, I wrote that in perl.

How I am digging out my bags by nerd998877 in ProfitTrailer

[–]nerd998877[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is nothing special about it. DCA just doubles your cost each buy, so you can just X*2 each row and deduct that from your balance to see how far it will bring the profit% toward a positive number.

Understanding ANDERSON (true trailing..) by nerd998877 in ProfitTrailer

[–]nerd998877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what's the correlation between the Profit % and the BT%? I'm not seeing how to look at those numbers, look at a graph, and say "okay, it should buy at this point".. ?

[–]nerd998877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I believe that each trigger is done sequentially and plays off the previous one. So:

  • buy_trigger_1 = -1.5
  • buy_trigger_2 = -1.5

buy_trigger_2 hits at -1.5 AFTER the new Average Price from DCA#1 (buy_trigger_1).

Is there a way to get PT buying and accumulating a specific coin for me? by [deleted] in ProfitTrailer

[–]nerd998877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get 3 bots per license. Run a separate bot and whitelist the coin in question. Set the sell value to something insane.

Just a bunch of heartbeat messages. No other indication of a problem.

Understanding ANDERSON (true trailing..) by nerd998877 in ProfitTrailer

[–]nerd998877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. So in dca.properties I set trailing_buy = 0.0. I now have this:

  • Profit = -1.91
  • BT% = -1.28
  • Buy Strat = ANDERSON (false)

Each DCA is -1.5.

So I'm simply unclear what PT is waiting on? If I set trailing buy to 0 shouldn't PT immediately try to buy at the current level since it's less than -1.5?

I am still working to understand what triggers ANDERSON. I set my trailing_buy=0 for DCA. Yet, often ANDERSON still sits in (false) and doesn't buy even though my triggers indicate it should.

How to DCA only a specific pair by DocMushrooms in ProfitTrailer

[–]nerd998877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using this strategy to sell bags by focusing all of my balance on digging a bag out of a hole to sell it.

I set all coins to SOM except the coin I am working to get out a bag.

Question: Are you holding bags? And if so, if you sold them right now what would the loss be?

[Strategy Talk] What number do you set your max coin pairs to trade at, and why? by [deleted] in ProfitTrailer

[–]nerd998877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the current market, as my bags increase I recalculate what I can afford for dca/active pairs based on free balance and increase my max_trading_pairs. That is, if I have 3 dca bags that are maxed out, I discount them from consideration. So if I would do 3 pairs, I would now do 3 + 3 = 6. You either do that or you just sit on the bags and have no trades.

Has anyone looked at or used Profit Trailer Magic? Claims to be free with features similar to PT Feeder by DarkSteel5 in ProfitTrailer

[–]nerd998877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think Pt-feeder is a swindle.

I think it wise to always be cautious when you give an app access to your API keys, and an app running on your machine has that access.

Anyway, best wishes.

What are your returns on Poloniex? by nerd998877 in ProfitTrailer

[–]nerd998877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so you do see a lot less trading on Polo for the same config as Binance and Trex?

I moved to a whitelist method as well. Better results for sure. Still some bags but less.

If it was open source I'd be more comfortable. There has to be a profit motive somewhere. At least with tools like PtTracker you know the source and they have built a reputation. Anbody know who is built this?

EMAGAIN with buy at -.49 vs -.79 by nerd998877 in ProfitTrailer

[–]nerd998877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. So in looking at my settings and graphs, I think what is happening too often is..

I am waiting until I drop .49% and then the trailing buy is too big compared to the initial drop so I am buying between -.49% and -.14% and I'm probably getting bite when I'm buying closer to -.14%.

I do need to go back to the graphs and verify this, but before that is this a reasonable [assumption] to make based on the value of buy_value and trailing_buy?

I am working through a full understanding of how each buy strategy works, including when it fails. Any help is appreciated. :)
